Did Paul die a sinner? I thought he changed to a different law.

Shalom.Paul said that the law was contrary to us. No one can do it or keep it, Colossians 2:14. The only one that ever kept it was Jesus. He kept it for us, Matthew 5:18.
Christians are born sinners. Live their lives before God as sinners and die as sinners. There are two kinds of sinners, saved sinners and lost sinners.
We die to sin, how can we then live in sin?
The original gospel before the cross that Jesus preached to the Jews was salvation by faith, sonship with God.
After the cross speculation arose that Jesus was sin sacrifice. Christianity merged with and was modified by the Pagan world. Paul never knew Jesus in the flesh so he brought a lot of his own ideas into the new religion about Jesus that replaced the religion OF Jesus.

God's Law shows or reveals your sin to you. It is not against you, except in that, or where, you have sinned.
God created and gave us His Law for our protection, and for our good.

Shalom.A good son does not need laws, rules or instructions. He knows what is required of him and lives accordingly. He knows what is pleasing to his father and always does those things that pleases his father. If you need laws and rules to live by then you are possibly one of these, 1 Timothy 1:9, 10.

The righteous are mentioned in 1 Timothy 1:9, 10.
Knowing what to do intrinsically may be possible, but obeying your father's instruction is what any son should be able to do. See Romans 6 and Galatians 4:1-2.

Shalom. The law was the schoolmaster until faith came. Believers have no more need for a schoolmaster.

Shalom.1 Timothy 1:9, 10, says, "Knowing this, that the law is not made for the righteous man".
The righteous man does not need laws and rules to live by. Do you need to be told what to do or what not to do? We are called to live by the Spirit. The Spirit gives life, but the law kills.
Shalom.
Do you obey any of God's commands?
