What the Gospel is and What the Gospel is Not

Paul talks about two ways to live. Living by Spirit and living by law.

Those that are living by faith are living by the Spirit, This is why Paul said, "The just (justified) shall live by faith" Galatians 3:11.

In the New Testament faith counts for righteousness, Galatians 3:6. Not doing or keeping the law. To be under the law is to be under condemnation, Galatians 3:10.

Living by Spirit is to live according to the Gospel. In the Gospel we are perfect and complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10. If God sees us as perfect and complete in Christ then the law is not needed. No one can do or live by the law anyway, it is contrary to us, Colossians 2:14.

You certainly dont live by the Holy Spirit since you believe and teach that Christ's Blood failed to save all for whom it was Shed ! The Holy Spirit didnt lead you into that despicable lie which dishonors Christ !

Your Gospel is small and weak and does not atone for the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2.

The God of the Bible atones for the sins of the whole world, so that... "Whosoever that shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.

You will perish, right along with your little weak God.

Whats more dishonoring to Christ than preaching that His Blood failed to save all for whom He died ?

Salvation has been provided for everyone.

"That he by the grace of God has tasted death for EVERYONE" Hebrews 2:9.

Because you don't believe or have faith in him, you will most certainly perish.

You teach that sinners Christ died for or tasted death for, same thing, are still lost. You don't believe His Death Saves.

I think there is a difference between following the LAW and obeying what God commands. The LAW was a system of rules set up for Israel. There are commands from the Law that have been reissued to Christians by Jesus and the Apostles - but that is not to say that we are subject to the LAW. Yes we should obey what Jesus commands us to do - but it is out of love for Him and from the strength He gives - it is not in order to be righteous before Him.
Shalom.

Are you familiar with Matthew 5:17-20?

After Jesus fulfilled the law he abolished it. "Jesus is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes" Romans 10:4.
Shalom.

Jesus did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, He came to fulfill them.

You have a serious problem with what the Bible is saying.

The law will cause you to sin. You need to be free from the law and start living by faith.

Listen to what Paul is saying. "But sin taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. FOR WITHOUT THE LAW SIN WAS DEAD. For I was without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I FOUND TO BE UNTO DEATH" Romans 7:8-10.

This is why Jesus took us out from under the law. The law is contrary to us. No one can keep it or do it, Colossians 2:14.

Sin is of the flesh. The Law reveals sin. The Law is good.

The Law reveals sin. It shows us that we are sinners. When we hear the good commandments of God, in the flesh we respond by rebelling against them, against God, in the flesh, by sinning. The desire to obey is met with frustration, because we feel that we can't obey. But you can obey God. If you feel that you can't, know that in Christ you can.

Sin is revealed, in that it is transgression of the Law, when we choose to go against God. It is revealed by the Law, by God. Without the Law, this sin may not have been revealed except by and not apart from God. If you say that there is no sin because there is no law, that sin is not imputed or counted against you when there is no law, you may be rebellious thinking that there is not any law or that there should not be any law. Is the problem your flesh or sin? In the flesh, when you are living according to the flesh, you sin. If you would not have known what God's commandments are, you may never have known what sin is. Sin is not the fault of the Law, God's Law, as it comes from God. And sin is not God's fault.

The law is good because it reveals the nature and the Character of God.

The law is good because it reveals the sinfulness of man.

The law is good because it is our schoolmaster that brings us to Christ.

"But after faith is come we are no longer under the schoolmaster (the law) for you are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus" Galatians 3:24-26.

So, you think that you can do the commandments.

All that are "In Christ" God sees as perfect and complete, Colossians 2;10.

No one is "in Christ" unless Christ is in them. He was resurrected to live in us and he doesn't sin.

Sin is not "in Christ" and those who sin are not in Christ.

The holy Spirit provides the power to not have any other gods ahead of the true God.

The holy Spirit provides the power to not murder or steal.

The holy Spirit is what gave Jesus the power to resist sin.

"how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God" (Hebrews 9:14)

The holy Spirit provides the power to overcome sin and our flesh.
