This place is like a mad house.

Like a colosiem full of the proud, priveleged and blood thirsty.

How can anyone learn anything here except how not to act?

Peace

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that baptism saves.

Thought you may want to consider 1 Peter 3:21:

"The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us." KJV

"...and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also..." NIV

"And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you.." NLT

"Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you,..." RSV

Peace

And Jesus said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."
(John 3:5)

The only thing that baptism is going to do for you is get you wet.

Your prideful denial of the biblical teaching on Baptism [SOURCE] is noted.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing that you can do to save yourself. You eat wafers and drink grape juice thinking that will make you like Christ and save you.

Sinners cannot save sinners, nor can sinners save themselves.

Did Jesus preach the grace gospel?

The only Gospel Jesus preached was the Kingdom Gospel. It was the good news that the King had arrived. Wherever Jesus is at there is the Kingdom of God.

Jesus left it up to the apostles to preach the Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:19.

There are some on the Forum that think nothing of calling the apostles and Jesus liars.

Example, John 3:16, throughly and completely refutes Calvinism, Catholicism and all religions

"For God so loved the WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16.

The perverters want to change the word "world" to the "world of the elect" and then they want to change the word "whosoever" which means all, anyone, everyone, to mean only the elect. It is offensive to Calvinist that God loves the world. He loves the world and has provided salvation for the whole world, 1 John 4:14.

Catholics don't like John 3:16 either, because there is nothing there about works. They would like to change John 3:13 to say... "Whosoever that believes and does good works". They find it offensive that the thief on the cross did nothing but believe and was saved.

The Church of Christ people believe that you must be baptized in water to be saved. This is a complete perversion of God's word. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that baptism saves.

The Bible teaches that Christians are justified (made right with God) by faith, Romans 5:1. Not by being predestinated, not by good works, not by being baptized in water. Salvation is by faith alone, because it is by Christ alone.
Catholics first and last?

Did Paul preach a different gospel than Jesus?

Jesus did not preach the Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:19.

The Gospel that Paul preached came to him by Jesus Christ, Galatians 1:11, 12.
