One of the best things about Ted Cruz

I've suspected that Cruz and Trump made a deal a while back that whoever won the nomination, the other would be VP.

Trump and Cruz both are hated by the establishment because they have gobs of money that didn't come from lobbyists.

What do you mean by the 'establishment'? Is it just a label for those one dislikes, or does it apply to a group, and who might that be?

yeh, that's how we can tell Cruz is the one to vote for: he is, as Jesus predicted his people would be, "hated by all" because of his faith in Jesus (which of course is not just BELIEF in the head, but actions 2) .

you can tell Fox doesn't really like him because he is hardly ever on, except right after debates or when his numbers go up some.

and we know who IS on Fox and CNN and etc, and on 10 times more than the others?

everyone is an idiot these days

:luigi:
How will he be elected, if he is hated by all? If everyone is an idiot, then you are also an idiot.

I can't compromise my principles enough to vote for a candidate that is not eligible, even if he is the best one in the pack.

The Republican Party is responsible for 50% of what is wrong with our country these days.
The Democrat Party is responsible for the remaining 50%.

Can I count on you to help abolish the two-headed beast that is destroying our country and vote independent?

I've always encouraged people to become informed when it comes to politics, and those that refuse to I highly encourage them to stay home on election day.

After corresponding with you, I highly encourage you do the latter (people who believe in God will win this culture war without you).

Because the last time we gave the Republicans two full terms in office it really changed things. :plain:

"We"? I'd say the Court had a hand in it first time around.

As for the thread's subject, what is the Canadian up to lately? Lying more than usual? Or laying on a thick coat of smarm somewhere?

Cynic. :chuckle:

I once described him as Pat Buchanan, but without all the charm. :plain:

The best thing about Cruz?

He's exactly what you think he is...which is also the worst thing about Cruz, comes to it.

Personally, Pat is (or at least was) quite engaging. Pretty weak handshake though.

The best thing about Cruz?

:shut:

The man's utterly appalling. I seriously can't respect anyone who supports him. At all.

Do you think anyone actually pays heed to what you encourage aCW?

How about being a practicing beacon of silence? Now you know, that would be laudable and more meritorious than most of what you actually end up "saying"...

You could do the same.

You culture war will never be won because America is destined to become the beast of Revelation within the next 4 Presidential elections.

While Ted Cruz has gone after the Christian vote, he's wise not to put too much emphasis on it for the following reasons:

1). Many Christians won't vote for him because he doesn't attend their church (if you think that I'm joking, sit back and watch the hatred that takes place on TOL due to theological differences).

2). Voting for political candidates who can help get things turned around in this once great nation of ours would throw a wrench into the spokes of the "Jesus is returning soon" crowd (I compare them to Infowars Alex Jones, only with a bible).

I guess you're trolling political threads for entertainment?

I suppose you are the type of person who thinks the constant erosion of the principles of the Constitution is entertaining.

Do you also feel opening up the public vote to include the Senate and President has helped the people of the United States?

Ted Cruz said not showing up for the vote to confirm Loretta Lynch was the same as voting for her.

Ted Cruz said he supports auditing the Fed but didn't show up to vote. Which, by his logic, was as good as voting against it. What a clown. He'll say whatever it takes to get elected.

(1. Ted Cruz doesn't go to Danny's church, hence his hatred of him).

I'm sure that Ted Cruz will survive without your vote Dan.

I actually dislike him for numerous reasons. The fact that he's a statist, war-mongering chickenhawk, ziofascist, corporatist demaouge are at the top of the list.

Funny that Republicans rightfully point out that the Democrats say anyone who doesn't agree with them are racist, but then think anyone who doesn't agree with their own candidates are crazy too. I must be crazy to not want in on these brilliant wars that Ted Cruz loves. I must be crazy to not want to government to steal my money like Ted Cruz does. I must be hater to point out that he says different things to different audiences like every other politicians. Republicans think Cruz is different like Democrats think Bernie is different. Same old garbage from lying politicians.

The odd thing is, no matter how many times voters believe the next President will be great, he never is. But every four years they fall for it all over again.

RINOS hate Ted Cruz (he's not part of the Establishment). You must have not gotten the memo.

I don't vote. I don't have the need to pretend that I have any influence on federal policy. When I became a man, I put away childish things like 10th grade civics B.S. Therefore, I could care less about Gary Johnson. If he actually thinks he could accomplish the things he wants to in government, he is naive. Maybe he's just trying to get a message out. Who knows. Either way, I won't waste my time by voting. I don't need the false sense of control.

Further, the Republicans that allegedly hate Ted Cruz will throw all of their support behind him if he gets the nomination. What do you think they'll do? Boycott him or run a third party? No. They will fall in line. Further, everything his supporters like about him is his rhetoric. He has never actually accomplished anything like he claims he would do. There is no reason to believe he would or could do it as president. You like his rhetoric. Fine. But he has not proven that it is anything more than rhetoric. If he won't actually use massive executive orders like Obama, he has a better chance to accomplish these things in the senate. Once he is president, he no longer gets a vote on legislation. If he really plans to be Constitutional president, he won't be able to do anything unless congress does it. And we know that won't happen.

You like to feel warm and fuzzy like all these people that pour billions of dollars into lobbying and buying politicians and gerrymandering are going to let YOU decide policy. It's an absurd notion, but you can stick with it if you need to.

(#2: Jesus is returning...)

This is a political thread that deals with political issues. Barack Hussein Obama was able to push his pro abortion, pro homosexual, pro socialist agenda thanks to people like you that...

"don't vote".

Go troll somewhere else, this thread deals with a constructive solution to a real problem.
