If your sources said that Ben Cotton claimed the databases were not deleted (which they did), but Ben Cotton reiterated that he never said that (which he did), then those news sources you relied on have given false information. 2. lying (in which case you should not rely on them)
3. unable to understand the English language (in which case you should not rely on them)?
If you have another reason for why they might be providing false information, please provide. Maybe "for the good of the country", or "because they were told to do so, and they are very loyal to their masters".
But it boils down to this: they provided false information, and they cannot be trusted on this issue.
And it boils down to this, also. You believed them before, and you believe them now, even after Ben Cotton's clarification. So you are also untrustworthy.

Why should news outlets be obliged to jump through your hoops as to what's considered "false information"? I've followed this fiasco from the start and this latest circus was only to be expected. With regards to Ben Cotton then all of this stuff about databases being deleted has come to what exactly? Backtracking? Feeble excuses?

But the deleting of the databases has come to a RECOVERY of the databases after the Maricopa County BOS either deleted the material, or someone else did that surprisingly had access to the files, and refused to provide subpoenaed material, all while saying "Nothing to see here". (additional comment: it doesn't really matter what the deleted databases results in. The point was that there were deleted databases. Your MSM sources said there weren't, and additionally said that Ban Cotton said there weren't. Both were false statements, along with accusations that TGP and others were lying about deleted databases. Yet you routinely criticize TGP and other pro-audit sources for giving false information. That makes it both a hypocrisy for YOU and for your darling MSM sources. But you don't care if they make false statements about TGP making false statements, so that makes it a double hypocrisy for you.)

The reason why the "MSM" isn't reporting the same in such "boom" type glee is because credible news sites like to have at least a semblance of fact before spouting off ridiculous bunk. TGP were not correct. Frankly, if I'm as you suggest then you are too and I'm not inclined to engage further if that's your remit. IIRC, TGP was one of the ones that initially made the announcement that there had been deleted files found, and recovered.
That announcement has now been verified by the very person who found the deleted files AND RECOVERED THEM.
