I was thinking branches or movements. One source spoke of denominations but I do not know what they are. Judaism is not Christianity. It is important to be close to God. But I do not know how to measure something like that.

If you joined a Jewish denomination that believes in Jesus as the Savior then you are a Christian whether or not you use that word. Messiah and Christ mean the same thing.
