Sure they are. How many black Christs does the ROMAN Catholic Church teach that its followers must touch and kiss the black wooden statue (which is totally contrary to biblical teaching)?

Let's see, that comes to mind, there's one in Brazil, thousands, if not millions, flock to it and kiss the microbe filled black wood. Then, there's one in Guatemala which RCC followers do the same.

Show me a verse in the Bible or anywhere in history where Peter, the first infallible Pope, according to RCC doctrine, taught that anyone is to kiss a statue, black or otherwise. However, the RCC does teach their followers to kiss statues, black or otherwise.

It would do you and anybody else good if we all took the time to understand Matthew 16:13-20 and what Jesus was talking about, and it is NOT what the RCC proclaims.
