Where did I say I wouldn't be? If I saw any friend embarking on what I considered a perilous course of action I'd let them know, bluntly if necessary. Know what I wouldn't say to any victim of rape? That they deserved it, unlike you.

I didn't see the second part. I was hoping that maybe he was being misunderstood. But it seems like he is truly twisted
Compassion, unconditional, all accepting love. Because in order for them to forgive they have to suffer every time they are reminded of their horrors.
This is exactly what Christ did for us when He suffered our violation of His innocence. He cried Father forgive them for they know not what they do.
For the victim of rape to pray that same cry takes nothing less than the supernatural life of a redeemed and victorious follower of Messiah.
And when these precious people have moments of behaviors that they don't like to exhibit they should be given extra grace and understanding for as many times as needed. They are opportunities for believers to practice loving others as Messiah loves us.

Your scenario of josefiend is not compatible to a sexy female out on the town by herself because not every man is a rapist. And not every bar in America has a rapist hiding in the shadows.
Now if this was a group of Isis and Josephine went out from the hut in a bikini then yea her fault. Because she had a 99% chance that Abdullah and Ibrahim were gonna get her - they do it all the time.
Girls go out every night looking provocative and aren't getting raped.
Girls go out to the park, mall, etc dressed in modest apparel and get raped regularly. The rapist is guilty of allowing his emotion of lust to control his will and therefore violated his victim and sins against God.
I don't care if a woman is walking naked down an alley I will not rape her.
The reason rape occurs is from within the sin nature of man. And unfortunately these jack ***** include violence while committing their sins. That means not only do they fail to control their sensual lusts but they also fail to control their lust for murder. This failure in God's view is the fault of the rapist and not the half naked hottie.
That is the biblical position, God will punish the rapist for the sin of rape not the one who lacked the ability to defend against the aggressor
