Absolutely 100% correct.Telling a woman that she deserved to be beaten and raped is beyond atrocious.

And how is that to be accomplished?
Should he lock her up?
You are espousing some very dangerous behaviors.
Yep.
As if the rape itself doesn't make you feel dirty enough, they want to pile on some more dirt.
And then the dirt pilers want to claim they pile on the dirt as a form of "help".
Mind boggling.
"pile on some more dirt" =/= "taking responsibility for your own fool behaviors"
not if you're afraid to tell her the truth to keep her from coming to harm again
"pile on some more dirt" =/= "taking responsibility for your own fool behaviors"
Did you miss post #2?Doser: I want to know exactly what your views on what constitutes a woman bringing rape onto herself are. What, in your opinion, makes a woman culpable for her own rape?
Did you miss post #2?
Where doser says:
"unless they were asking for it like Josephine"
And then gives the Josephine scenario which includes:
You deserved to get beaten and raped.
You chose to get beaten and raped.
How should they be treated?
With compassion or blame?
:thumb:I didn't see the second part. I was hoping that maybe he was being misunderstood. But it seems like he is truly twisted
Thank you, IntoJoy.Compassion, unconditional, all accepting love. Because in order for them to forgive they have to suffer every time they are reminded of their horrors.
This is exactly what Christ did for us when He suffered our violation of His innocence. He cried Father forgive them for they know not what they do.
For the victim of rape to pray that same cry takes nothing less than the supernatural life of a redeemed and victorious follower of Messiah.
And when these precious people have moments of behaviors that they don't like to exhibit they should be given extra grace and understanding for as many times as needed. They are opportunities for believers to practice loving others as Messiah loves us.

Of the 11 people so far that have posted in this thread, the ONLY one that says ....
she asked for it.... is doser.
she deserved it
she chose it
Please join me in praying for his troubled soul.
Just like you
