I said (which you ignore) deserve and choose are bad choices of words but that i get their point, i said it numerous times and to you directly, what part are you not getting yet?

The part where you're not getting that they both say that people can deserve to get raped - in sheer black and white in their own words. Am I to understand that you don't in fact agree with such a heinous position?

What else would you like from me beyond saying i disagree with the choice of words, be specific.

Would you like to lie about my position? Would you like to be able to claim i said something i didnt and believe something i dont?

Name it, say it outright.

If you dont understand what ive been clear about already, the problem is yours.

http://www.theologyonline.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4526405&postcount=861 read it till you understand it. Or not, since it was, afterall, posted to YOU.

That you'd be honest enough to recognize their stance. They've plainly said that certain people deserve to be raped, no if ands or buts. If you're going to deny that still and make it about 'context' then you're just a liar or just darn thick. I happen to think you have a brain outside of all the typical 'liberal' throwaway post stuff you can toss around as response so how about acknowledging that it's plain wrong for people to advocate that people deserve to be raped and reprimand the tossers that are doing it?

Within the very first opening posts I noted the word deserve and made the distinction. People have been tripping over that word now for 290 posts. Sorry that was the deservedness thread which is wrong according to spell check, I got mixed up with so many rape threads.

Here is my point, do not make trouble. There has been enough nonsense. Get this, no woman, no matter how she behaves, ever deserves to be raped, anymore than you deserve it! Get it?

Why did you single me out? How am I making trouble for simply participating in a discussion? I haven't even done what you have accused me of.

I dont agree that what you are saying they are saying, is their stance.

Im honest about it.

Then how about the words of SOD himself then? How is the following supposed to be took exactly Angel?

"likewise, I would say that certain circumstances exist in which a woman deserves to be raped, in that she had earned it by her actions

but i would hesitate to say that she deserves the emotional and psychological effects that might come with it"

So she only DESERVES the physical rape and not the emotional and psychological effects according to the dose man.

Rather you've just re-posted a response that doesn't address the fact that certain cretins here think people can deserve to be raped. It don't fly Angel and what's more you know it. Do you agree with SOD?

You are brain dead.

Hey, get this straight Angel. Nobody is denying that bad choices can lead to regrettable consequences or encouraging women to put themselves in positions of possible harm.

Great then you are wising up and getting the point being made.

How about you? Do you think certain people deserve to be raped?

I already answered you directly, or are you willfully forgetting in your zeal to demonize me, because you know ive made the point?

Josephine gets beaten and raped.

Those who beat and rape Josephine are arrested and charged.

Francine comes to visit Josephine in the hospital.

Josephine whines about how unfair it was that she got beaten and raped.

Francine says "What are you talking about? You deserved to get beaten and raped. I told you not to go down there. You chose to get beaten and raped. Next time don't be such a moron"

I would have said im sorry that you are suffering the consequences of being the victim of those crimes because of your willful actions of putting yourself knowingly in harms way.

The one who assaulted and raped is NOT LESS GUILTY of their crime, because the woman in question is guilty of irresponsible behavior.

Each are bearing consequences (one jail, the other suffering) and each are responsible for their own actions.

One doesnt cancel or remove the other.

You can keep doing it as you will, but it was never a sufficient answer to start with. Keep with it though if that's how you wanna deflect away from the insidious posts where folk think people deserve to be raped...

According to the humanists, people do not deserve any punishment for bad behavior. According to God they do. Clearly, the humanists think they get to make the rules. It's why they can never agree. :chuckle:
