The lost sheep of Israel were Jews who already belonged to God by faith. The old Law was not based on faith, but when Jesus came, he came to make a New Covenant based on faith.
Those lost sheep who already had faith and belonged to God...they now had to go through Jesus to remain God's...God gave them to Jesus.
Jesus said he would not lose one that God gave him.

Jesus IS the Sabbath Rest.
Jesus IS the CIRCUMCISION.
Jesus IS the external washing that cleans us.
Jesus is the food that keeps us clean.
Jesus is the sacrificial Lamb of God whose blood atones for us.

There is no reason to believe that the "last trump" that Paul is writing about has anything to do with other "trumps", especially those related to Israel's prophecies.
