God's Truth

But I've already demonstrated from Scripture that the term 'Christ' does not mean 'GOD'.

The Lord Jesus Christ is GOD but not because the word 'Christ' means 'GOD' because it doesn't.

I've defended the deity of Christ for well over thirty years from Scripture and I don't have to resort to made up definitions and lies to do so.

'Easier' is not the priority.
'Truth' is the priority.

It isn't made up. Look at the scriptures I gave you. Spell out the scripture about Christ in the desert and prove it isn't God.

I am waiting.

1 Corinthians 10:9 We should not test Christ, as some of them did--and were killed by snakes.

Exodus 17:2
Therefore the people quarreled with Moses and said, "Give us water that we may drink." And Moses said to them, "Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test the LORD?"

Psalm 106:14
But craved intensely in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert.

Psalm 95:9
"When your fathers tested Me, They tried Me, though they had seen My work.

Now show where those scriptures mean the anointed, as anyone else can be.

If the Holy Spirit doesn't have to tell us anything, then what are all those do this' and do thats' in the Bible?
He doesn't have to tell us to obey civil laws. Openly disregarding civil laws is rebellion. It's an act of disobedience to authority. That's being disobedient to God, but God doesn't have to tell you that because you should already know.

Things like lying about your age on a driver's license are common sense. If you are practicing such things, you are a reprobate and your conscience is seared.

Jesus is the Christ, which means Jesus God.

Messiah and Savior is the same thing.
Messiah and Deliverer is the same thing.
Messiah and the Redeemer is the same thing.
Christ, Messiah, Savior, Deliverer, and Redeemer are the same thing.
All those names…Christ, Messiah, Savior, Deliverer, and Redeemer, AND GOD are the same.
All those names are the names of God the Father AND JESUS CHRIST.

Now think of Jesus Christ as Jesus God.

This is truly how her mind works, folks. :eek:linger:

'Christos' in Greek means 'anointed'.

Kind Cyrus of Persia was GOD's 'anointed/messiah/christ', but he wasn't GOD.

The Lord Jesus is GOD's 'anointed/messiah/christ' and He is GOD in the flesh.

The words 'christ/christos/mashiach/messiah' mean 'anointed'.
They don't mean 'GOD'.

Steko, just when you think she MIGHT be getting it, she'll shock you with her total ignorance. For some reason, a hard head is a result of a hard heart. Just watch......

I asked you to address the scripture in 1 Corinthians 10:9.

You haven't proven anything to me unless you deal with what the scripture I gave to prove that Christ means God, LORD.

So then WHY does God tell us?
To obey civil authority? He told Paul's audience that. The authorities in Paul's day were ruthless and and sometimes unfair. They also killed Christians. There was good reason to disobey in their minds. Today, most civil authority is just and the rules are fair and reasonable. It's common sense.

You still don't get it; I'm not trying to insult you. That isn't my purpose.

Get it through your head

I see you are very confused then. I couldn't care any less what you think of me. Is the thread topic called "What do you think of GT"?
