What is God's first creation?

Wait, so Jesus did not exist at the creation of Gen 1:1?

CORRECT. He was BORN in Bethlehem many years after the creation.

Doc, if you believe in the Holy Spirit why are you having a hard time with the logos (spirit son)?

The spirit of God moved across the face of the waters in Gen 1, could that be the spirt son, logos, in HEB 1, and Col 1?

Could that be the logos that became flesh?

Could that be the logos that was SENT from ABOVE?

Questions for your consideration friend.

Jesus was not a man, He was a spirit. God created Jesus before He created anything else. God gave Jesus power to create the rest.

I differ with you on that sis, Jesus was a Man. The LOGOS (true son) is a spirit.

It is the Logos that is the express image, and the firstborn of all creation. The Logos needed a body to dwell in, that body is Jesus. Heb 10:5.

I don't know you make such a big fuss about it.

Son the spirit became man by His Father.

Yes He did.

Genesis 1:1 New Living Translation (NLT)
The Account of Creation
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.[a]

Colossians 1:16 New Living Translation (NLT)
16 for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.

Where in Col does it say that they are speaking of Jesus? Your assuming that it is.

Colossians 1:15-20 New Living Translation (NLT)
Christ Is Supreme
15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,[a]
16 for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.
17 He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together.
18 Christ is also the head of the church,
which is his body.
He is the beginning,
supreme over all who rise from the dead.
So he is first in everything.
19 For God in all his fullness
was pleased to live in Christ,
20 and through him God reconciled
everything to himself.
He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth
by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

Where is the name Jesus in your post?

Verse 15 is not about just Jesus, its about Jesus and what was IN him. What was IN him is a created form of God. The logos. It is the LOGOS IN HIM that makes him the Christ. Christ means anointed of God.

Just trying to show you that BR.

He was still the Son of God since He was begotten by His Father.

I was reading the notes the other day in my Aramaic NT. You might be interested in this. The Hebrew word that was translated as "begotten" really means "one of a kind" in Hebrew and Aramaic.

In other words, the logos in Jesus Christ is truly one of a kind.

Proves the fact that the Express Image is one of a kind.

I thought it was "created". Because He was created by God Himself.
