TeT believes that Christ returned in the form of the Roman army.
Heresy.
There is only one gospel.
The Kingdom of God promised to come required that Christ die for any who would desire to be included in it.
All one and only gospel.
Paul entered through obedience to the same gospel as the church began with.

Your ignorance fascinates me. It's hard to believe you're able to put one foot in front
of another in order to walk?
You lied again, as you were shown, chapter and verse, where the 12 had no clue that the Lord Jesus Christ would die, and be raised again, the foundation of the 1 Cor. 15:1-4 KJV good news, as it was hid from them, until after its fulfillment, and yet, they did preach for approximately 3 years, the gospel/good news of the kingdom, during a time in which it was not revealed to them.
Stop your deception.
One liner candyandycain. Weighty.
Nope-revpete's argument:
"V34 shows that the disciples had limited revelation until post resurrection. Lk 24 and the verses I have quoted confirms such. "
The had no revelation of the impending dbr-it was hid from them.
And I also told you to sit down, fruitcake. You are not in my league.
Lk 24 is post resurrection! The Lord opened the scriptures to them and they understood. As I said, the preached according to the revelation they had received. You have called me a liar and a deceiver. Now, who does that remind you of?

The gospel of Christ is the gospel that establishes the believer into the Body of Christ Romans 1:11 KJV, Romans 16:25-26 KJV, 1 Thessalonians 3:2 KJV) not the gospel of the kingdom.
If you represent the body of Christ, I wouldn't have wanted to be part of it! Thankfully that is not anything I need to concern myself with
"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." John 17:3-5 (KJV)
Now, what work was this Jesus was saying he completed which was required of Him, He had not yet gone to the cross?
How 'bout it being the preaching of the kingdom of God? Redemption being its foundation with the added caution of "Let him who builds a house first count the cost. . . . ." Luke 14:28
re Heir re the gospel of the kingdom,
you are speaking of it as though it was a separate one.
The Lord Himself and the 12 preached the gospel of the kingdom for three years while the Lord walked the earth (Matthew 4:23 KJV).
The gospel Paul received and preached is that Christ died for our sins, that He was buried and rose again the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV).
There is no way those two gospels are the same.
Straight and to the point. Excellent thread and OP, heir !!!
Yes, really. Who and why are different!Really? That's interesting.
You will not come into a thread with the topic that the gospel of the kingdom and the gospel of Christ aren't the same and try and change the topic because you refuse to acknowledge the OP. The gospel of the kingdom that was preached by the Lord Himself for three years is not the same as the gospel that Paul preached as the power of God to save you. That's the topic. Discuss it or get out of the thread. When did they know? Did all know at the same time?
So where do the worker bees get off saying the DBR was the Good News of salvation even while Christ was alive?
right.Hi and CONTEXT is non-existence to them it seems to me !!

Do you not believe Jesus is the Christ? Or do you just not believe Jesus' gospel of God's kingdom? It's written that he is a King of kings and a Lord of lords. Kings have kingdoms.
The context is resurrection. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV)
Then comes the end when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.
(1 Corinthians 15:24 NKJV)
Context.
The gospel of the kingdom is not the same as mentioning the kingdom of God. Why not just acknowledge that you recognize that the gospel of the kingdom was preached by the Lord Himself on earth for three years pre death yet Paul preached a gospel that declared Christ died for our sins? It's not so hard to admit that is true.
It wasn't the cross which is the power of God to save you! That's for sure! Is your hope outside of the work of the cross or in it?If you represent the body of Christ, I wouldn't have wanted to be part of it! Thankfully that is not anything I need to concern myself with

Jesus' death on the cross redeemed you [a fact]. His Life within you is what you need to save you [a faith venture].
