1st Corinthians 5Look at 1 Timothy 1:8.
1 Timothy 1:8 We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. 9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.
The scriptures say THE LAW IS GOOD if one uses it correctly.
You go against the law all around.
You misuse the law for your false doctrines.
Christians uphold the law, not put it down and condemn others with it, as you do.
Romans 3:31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
Now where did you go wrong in your understanding?
You need to study and search that out more, because Paul does NOT contradict himself; AND, true saved do NOT ignore scripture, so forget about ignoring 1 Timothy 1:8 and Romans 3:31.
There was a change to that old law, see Hebrews 7:12.
That changed old law is our new law.
All those who are saved have to obey the law, the new law, and the new law is in the New Covenant.
I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
