You have been responding to my posts about Nick's unsavory character assassination of a member without a shred of evidence of it being true.

False.
It doesn't take emotions to notice that he engaged in a vile character assassination with no evidence at all.

So what????
Why on earth would that excuse someone of making such an unsubstantiated character assassination???
Is it because you care more about spouting vile and unsubstantiated character assassination than truth?

No it's not rooted in emotion, it's rooted in common sense of what is an inappropriate thing to do.
I agree with you 100%. Christianity has no room for rudeness.

Too expensive these days man. Broccoli's not cheap either...
It seems I fogot to tell you who I am. I'm the poster formerly known as ffreeloader. My laptop was bricked by hackers and I couldn't afford another one for a year. That's why I hadn't been around.

Correction:

Modern day Christianity is full of people who think it's always bad to be rude.

Jesus was rude. Offensive, even. He is the "Rock of Offence" that will grind people into powder.

People who follow Him should know when it's a good thing to be rude.

So, you consider the man who hung naked on the cross to save people like you and I to be a rude person? It just doesn't fit with who he is.

Matthew 15:12 says: "Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?"

Does the next verse say, "Upon hearing this, Jesus ran to the Pharisees and apologized profusely for being rude by offending them."?

No, the next verse doesn't say that. Do you know why not?

You clearly don't know the Jesus or the Bible very well:

As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?

“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged ’ Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged ’ Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? Therefore he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. And he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him who sits on it. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’ “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: of them you will kill and crucify, and of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.

You are of father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own for he is a liar and the father of it.

“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw to the little dogs.”

Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.

And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: blind see and lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, Take up your bed and walk.’ ” Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath.

And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.

Jesus was offensive to those He preached to and interacted with.

Wow. I'm surprised at you. You;re going to take your ideas from Jesus' enemies being offended that He told them the truth?

Mat 15:10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
Mat 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

This is what offended the Pharisees.

So telling the Pharisees they were hypocrites is rude? I call that the truth.

lol I remember when you flamed out here and ... that's not the reason lol :D
Actually it is more than you know,

Which reminds me, I owe you an apology too for laughing at you for not knowing what your church teaches. I had no cause for doing that.
