the church

you don't want answers
-you just want to attack the church
-that gave you the freedom to do your thing

Oh, so that's the kind of witnessing to others that Jesus taught his followers to do? If they ask a question, just say, "Aw, you don't want answers! I'm not going to tell you anything."

Real nice, Catholic guy.

we are not the enemy
-why are you attacking us?
-many don't believe it matters what you do
-we do
-many don't believe you have to work at this
-we do
-there is a lot we agree on
-we are not the enemy

Re. post #665, Chrysostom:

Any church is an enemy if it is involved up to the eyeballs in the world's affairs. St. James said that to be friends with the world is making oneself an enemy of God. (James 4:4) We must have faith in Jesus and wait on him, meantime staying NEUTRAL concerning the world and its politics & its military.

Any church that teaches that God is three Gods when He says He is Jehovah....that church is an enemy. It is not teaching what Jesus taught. (John 17:3)

Jesus asked peter three times to feed His sheep
-this is what the church does
-the church teaches
-the church teaches in every nation
-the church teaches the good news
-that we might be saved
-it is conditional
-based on what we do

That is right; it is based on what we do.

The Catholics do things God says not to do.

Any small child can see that the Catholic church does things God says not to do...

no statures, not calling others 'father'; any many other such things.

Mark 7:13 ...And you do many things like that."

Just more of your MADist heterodoxy. Don't bother.

The truth hurts sometimes. If you desire eternal life:

1) Hear the true Gospel.
2) Place ALL of your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior.
3) You'll be forgiven ALL of your sins.
4) You'll be indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
5) You'll be baptized (not by water) into the Body of Christ.
6) You'll spend eternity with God in Heaven.
7) You'll receive the righteousness of Christ.

If you should get saved, you'll want to get far away from the Catholic church and its false doctrine, false Gospel, and its idol worship. Then, you'll be praying directly to God the Father in the name of God the Son.
