Hyper-Calvinist mishmash.
Prove it with scripture.
Hyper-Calvinist mishmash.
Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV)Prove it with scripture.
Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
What is it that Calvinists do not get about a free gift? It's only the Election of Grace which are Saved by Grace Rom. 11:5; Eph. 1:7.
2 Tim. 1:8-9
8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began

Salvation is only promised to God's Elect.
Rom. 8:33
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
1 Pet. 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Titus 1:1-2
1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
The Elect were chosen in Union with Christ before the world began 2 Tim. 1:9!
They don't get the IN CHRIST part. They don't understand that we are created IN HIM when we believe the Gospel of Grace.
That is not what the scriptures teach. Try John 3:16.
What is it that Calvinists do not get about a free gift?
This is why understanding monergism and synergism is so important. The synergist makes a finite creature out of God.Non-calvinists are the ones who believe a human act of faith is prerequisite to receiving grace unto everlasting life.

No, we are adopted in Him by grace alone, when we are regenerated (born again from above). John 1:12-13; Romans 8:14-15; Isaiah 56:5
Do you actually have Scripture that says what you post?
The elect of God alone are born again, and enabled to believe the promise of John 3:16.
We are saved by grace THROUGH FAITH (believing) and are created In Christ Jesus. Clear as a bell.
Eph. 2:8-10
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
But you posted that "we are created in Him when we believe . . "
CREATED? When we believe?
No, the sons of God were chosen for redemption in Christ before the foundation of the world, but created in Adam.
You are playing sloppy with Scripture.
I did and we are.
Eph. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Yes, IN CHRIST. Those are the "new creatures"....created IN HIM. What was predetermined from the beginning was the inheritance.....that those who would hear, and believe, and were sealed with the Spirit of Promise
Eph. 1:11-13 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
It's a shame you have things all wrong, You're old enough to knowI don't know why, but you are confusing creation with regeneration (recreated, resurrected); blurring the fact that all men, including Christians, were first created by God in Adam, and thereby suffer the results of his original sin.
