‘Sins of the Amish’ Reveals Bombshell Allegations of Cyclical Rape, Incest, and Physical Abuse

By far the most damning piece of the puzzle is the way some Amish leaders brainwash their youngsters to believe that nightmares like rape and incest are not just normal, but always the girl’s fault. While unpacking some of her old Amish materials, Mary uncovers one of her old sex education pamphlets titled “To the Girl of Eleven,” one of the only informative resources she had.

“This sex urge, once it is awakened and active in a young boy at the age of puberty and beyond, can become a powerful driving force within. Every decent girl will do her best to help him, and not make it harder for him. Even in your own home, if you have brothers in your teens, you should be mindful of this,” she reads. “Your brother innocently coming upon you and seeing your partly uncovered body may suddenly have strong sexual desires aroused within him. His intentions were not bad, but he suddenly finds himself a victim of your carelessness in the lust of his own body.”

The pamphlet also encourages young girls not to appear in scanty nightclothes or climb up ladders around their male family members, to keep their dress closed, and to close their door at night so that their brothers do not feel inclined to molest their sisters if they spot them half-naked in bed.

Still, a closed door didn’t prevent Mary’s brother from raping her in the middle of the night. She says she used to sprint to her room before he could catch her, but locking the door wasn’t enough.

“He would take off the hinges,” Mary tearfully recalls. “I remember him grabbing me and then I remember instantly splitting into two people. Like I wasn’t even there. When I came back, the door was closing, and he was gone.”

Mary eventually left the community and took her two abusive brothers to court. It would be hard to argue there was justice. Her elder brother Johnny, who confessed to raping Mary upwards of 200 times, was given one year in jail with the ability to leave and work, and 10 years of probation. Along with that, busloads of Amish people arrived at the hearing to defend Mary’s rapist brothers.

“I have a feeling she is doing this out of spite more than anything,” Mary’s own mother wrote to the judge. “Ever since I learned to know Mary personally, she had a habit of making things sound worse than they really are.”

Why the flurry of hate towards Mary? There is the belief that speaking out against rape is actually a worse sin than the rape itself. To publicly accuse an Amish brother of such an act is to ruin his life, so you must forgive him instead of going to the police or spreading gossip.

On top of this abuse, “the Lord commands” that physical discipline must begin at 3 months old, meaning Amish fathers are expected to beat their children from infancy. One woman recounts how her father used to ask her baby sister to clap and smile, and when she inevitably didn’t—babies can’t understand words—the father would beat the baby.
Your point?

Don't spread misinformation. Buck up and do some research instead of spouting off lies due to ignorance.

New curriculum in Austin, Texas encourages even pre-pubescent children to consider “vaginal intercourse,” “oral intercourse,” and “anal intercourse.”13 Angry parents have gone to school board meetings demanding to know who gave the school district the right to teach their child how to have anal and oral sex.14
marke,

You did not even review the primary source document that you provide! And, you accuse others of being uniformed? I have skimmed the proposed curriculum for fourth and fifth grade.

1) The term sexual intercourse comes up once in fourth, twice in the fifth grade. The occurrences do not even define sexual intercourse, but mention it as a possible way communicable disease can be transmitted. One lesson (out of over 40) involves sexual anatomy.

2) They have lessons encouraging the children to clarify and follow their family's values.

3) A guideline for guest speakers includes being sure to be consistent with school/community guidelines when answering questions about sex.

4) The entire focus is to stop the spread of infectious diseases including HIV, not to give sex education or instruction. I assume the sixth grade curriculum mentions more specifically vaginal, oral and anal intercourse as routes of infection spread instead of the vaguer term sexual intercourse

The fact that you offered this as proof of graphic sexual instruction / grooming by school officials demonstrates just how much of an insufferable boob you are.

Don't try to justify the abusive sexualization and perversion of children under the guise of "necessary sex education." What is being taught by public schools under the influence of sex perverts at SEICUS and baby killers at PP is sexual perversion.

Extreme sexualization and LGBTQ+ indoctrination of children at younger and younger ages in public schools is now ubiquitous nationwide—and it’s part of a much broader agenda that goes well beyond just encouraging confusion and promiscuity for its own sake.

The real goal is ultimately to destroy the nuclear family as the foundation of civilization, experts say. As Karl Marx and countless other totalitarians understood, the state will step in to fill the void left by the family unit. In short, sex-ed is aimed at undermining the very building blocks of society.

In the not-too-distant past, so-called sex-education for young children and normalizing gender confusion in tax-funded schools would have been unthinkable and even criminal.

Today, the most extreme forms of sex education imaginable—including encouraging young children to engage in fornication, sodomy, group sex, abortions, and even “sex-change” surgeries—is a reality in the United States and beyond.

If it were not for exceptions offered to school employees in state obscenity laws, it would still literally be a crime to give children much of the material being used in classrooms nationwide under the guise of “sex education.”

Democrat Ministry of Truth: No school in the country teaches graphic sex in the classroom without parents knowing.
No school in the country teaches pornographic sex in the classroom, period. Sex ed involving illustrations has been going on since I was in high school (a long time ago). But it was not pornographic, nor did anyone ever claim that students should engage in sexual activities. The problem is that you get all your information from insanely biased sources and you have done so for so long that you think they're idiocy is reasonable.

Also, you just blindly attribute anything you disapprove of to some imaginary horde of Godless liberal democrats because the sources you get your information from are in the business of blaming all the world's ills on them, for their own political and corporate gain. And you swallow their swill hook, line, and sinker because you WANT IT TO BE TRUE. It ratifies and justifies your own bigotry and bias. That's how propaganda works. And WHY it works.

You should be ashamed for promoting lies due to your ignorance of facts.

Why does Chris Reykdal’s head of perverse sex-ed call herself a counselor on her resumé?

Laurie Dils works for Boss of Government Schools, Chris Reykdal. She spent your tax money to promote an article that contends it’s good for children to watch pornography and suggests using pornography in government schools.

Laurie Dils also told the audience at a Planned Parenthood event that sexually extreme curricula should be taught in all classes, meaning there would be no ability to opt kids out. That is all to be expected from bureaucrats in Chris Reykdal’s office, where the uniform belief, as expressed by the curricula model they intend to force into schools, is that kids of all ages are sexual beings with the ability to consent to sexual pleasure and the right to pursue it … at any age. And you are a “flat-earther,” as Chris Reykdal once called parents, if you disagree with their radical positions.

It’s perfectly reasonable for me to ask these questions because these are just a few of the least extreme pieces of the perverse curricula she and Chris Reydkal want to shove down your throats and those of kids, starting in kindergarten, in the government schools.

I am sure parents whose kids might work with Laurie Dils would like to know what goes on in these sessions, but, in Jay Inslee’s Washington, 13-year-olds are in complete control of their mental health and can, in fact, get abortions and even cross-sex hormones without parental permission, though third parties can force parents to pay through their insurance companies, even without telling parents for what they are being charged.

This is what happens when bureaucrats engorged by sexually radical beliefs like Laurie Dils and Chris Reykdal are allowed to run rampant under one party rule.

Conservative talk radio is not a legitimate source of facts.
Right. Here again wild claims are made about a relatively tame reference guide for teachers who are specifically encouraged to use it only as a frame of reference to be adapted for particular students. Someone has taken the guide and made inflammatory statements in the margins to point out the atrocities. It is filled with exaggerations and misinterpretations like a lesson on how to say no to an offer of sex respectfully is labelled as a lesson on negotiating for sex. Lessons for older students are claimed to be for younger students, etc. The article then references this commentary uncritically as proof of a nefarious agenda.
