Muslim countries have a religious test

Which rules do you imply? Few of the EU nations are constitutionally secular, even though they are secular in practice, so Turkey's secular government is nothing to do with European rules.

The Copenhagen criteria are the rules that define whether a country is eligible to join the European Union. The criteria require that a state has the institutions to preserve democratic governance and human rights, has a functioning market economy, and accepts the obligations and intent of the EU.

Turkey was the home to the Seven Churches of Asia mentioned in the bible. All of the first seven Ecumenical Councils which are recognized by both the Western and Eastern churches were held in present-day Turkey. Of these, the Nicene Creed, declared with the First Council of Nicaea (İznik) in 325, is of utmost importance and has provided the essential definitions of present-day Christianity. During the tumultuous period of the first world war and founding of the Turkish republic, up to 3 million indigenous Christians are alleged to have been killed. Prior to this time, the Christian population stood at around 20% of the total.
The Arab–Byzantine wars were a series of wars between the mostly Arab Muslims and the East Roman or Byzantine Empire between the 7th and 11th centuries AD. Started during the initial Muslim conquests under the expansionist Rashidun and Umayyad caliphs in the 7th century and continued by their successors until the mid-11th century.

You are talking about two separate events: The Muslim Conquest, and the massacre of the Armenians (at least I think that is what you are referring to).

You think these events should disqualify Turkey from joining the EU?

It is multiple events that has put Turkey where it is at today. As for Turkey being in the EU, that is their problem.

Islam is not about freedom of religion.

Is Christianity about freedom of religion?

Islam is not about democracy.

Is Christianity about democracy?

Islam is not about upholding American values.

Is Christianity about holding up American values?

All Muslims are for Islam.

Aren't all Christians for Christianity?

You are mistaken if you think Muslims will put America before Islam.

Do Christians put America before Christianity?

As a Christian, do you put America before Christianity?

This thread is about Muslims. If you want to talk about Christians, then you can start a new thread.

One of the most foolish things I ever heard was, “there is nothing to fear but fear itself.”

Don't you know that only fools have no fear.

A Muslim wants in your house to kill you and your family, what do you do? Do you let him into your house?

You would think the president was a Muslim trying to get more Muslims into this country.

How about a poor, starving Muslim with a starving family moves into your street and appears on your doorstep one day, seeing that you are quite wealthy, asking if you have any odd jobs he could do for a small payment to better the condition for himself and his family.

Do you turn him away?

Is Christianity about freedom of religion?

No, it is about eternal life with God via voluntary desire.

Is Christianity about democracy?

Of course not. It is about eternal life with God.

Is Christianity about holding up American values?

Depends on the American.

Aren't all Christians for Christianity?

Christianity doesn't demand allegiance or face the sword.

Do Christians put America before Christianity?

Most Americans don't put America before themselves. And it cannot be before or after being Christian.

No such thing in America. If a family needs food, they can go to certain Christian Churches or agencies to get food.

There are 7 million people in the US with incomes below $6000 pa or $12000 pa for a family of four.

They look for charity. Would you not offer some Christian charity to someone looking to earning some extra money with honest graft? Or do you outsource your charitable activity?

I do both, all the time.

Right now there are Muslims warring against Christians and governments in Africa. There are Muslims throughout the world who would like to see the same thing happening in America. So I ask you, is it wise for Obama to be inviting tens of thousands of Muslims to America. You would think he was a Muslim by his actions.

Christian militias have been slaughtering whole villages in the Central African Republic, committing ethnic cleansing, according to the UN.

The Lord's Resistance Army has slaughtered throughout Uganda. Are you aware of The Army of God, Eastern Lightning, National Liberation Front of Tripura, and the American groups The Aryan Nations and the Covenant, the Sword, the Arm of the Lord, the Phineas Priesthood?

Christians can't claim that Muslims hold a monopoly on violent terrorism.

That is correct. The Muslims attacked the Christians meaning to exterminate all of them, unaware the Christians were prepared for the attack. The news media always fails to mention that part when they are reporting. The news media has become unreliable these days due to political correctness.
