God told me who HE wants for president '16?

This is for you Chrys, the CPAC straw poll results, you will notice that Jeb was booed by the crowd...wonder why? Do you really think your RINO brethren and the RNC can pull out a win with Jeb? Really? You might as well run Romney again, he has as good of a chance of pulling off a win.

Sen. Rand Paul won The Washington Times/CPAC presidential preference straw poll for the third time in a row while Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker surged to second place, as they trounced the rest of a strong but crowded field of potential candidates Saturday.

Sen. Ted Cruz slipped to third place, down a rung from his showing last year, with retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson in fourth and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush fifth. Mr. Bush was booed by the crowd when his name was announced in the poll results, suggesting how polarizing a figure he is among conservatives.

Doesn't surprise me at all, conservatives know a phony when they see it. I am sure Jeb felt like a stranger amongst the crowd of conservatives at CPAC, he is better suited to speak with fellow progressive RINO's than attempt to pass himself off as a conservative.

He even said he is a liberal when interviewed with Sean Hannity. He said he is a liberal in practice, even worse.

Rand Paul was 26 and Scot Walker was 21. Jeb was at 8% ahead of only Rick Santorum. According to the recent Fox News break.

Libertarians pretty much pack the audience at CPAC (they get to hear their candidate speak AND swap dope and kiddy porn at the same time), as this is the 3rd year in a row Ron Paul Jr. has won the straw vote.

He couldn't hide in that crowd he stuck out like a sore thumb...Jeb is no conservative by any measure.

What is the point of your post? That I should like Jeb Bush? Otherwise, can it. CPAC members gravitate away from the candidates that support liberals and socialism. Socialism is a sin.

As my link showed, they gravitate away from important issues like traditional family values (pro life, pro traditional marriage), hence the reason Ron Paul Jr. (aka Rand Paul) has won the straw poll 3 years in a row.

Pay close attention to the Party Platform in the upcoming election, that will show which way the Republican Party is headed (i.e. either it's sticking with it's tradtional family values or going with godless Libertarian doctrine).

And NO, the last thing the Republican Party needs is another moderate/liberal candidate for President like Jeb Bush.

Ted Cruz is the man that this country needs in the Oval Office.

Yes, he is the man I like also but, his candidacy will be met with hard resistance from the the RINO establishment and the left alike. I really believe that the RINO establishment would fall on their swords than let a conservative occupy the oval office, Ted Cruz is hated by the RINO's establishment.

That's been the case for decades, the RINO establishment nominates RINO's (Bush Sr., Bob Dole, Bush Jr., John McLame, Mitt Romney).

If only social conservatives would become organized and active, we could take this country back.

Believe it or not, abortion is a smoke screen. When liberty is taken away, the gospel can be shut down. But don't fret, I don't hold my nose when I vote.

As long as the RINOs want to keep on losing, keep putting up your candidates and stifle the primary process.

And on TOL The Barbarian and Rusha disparage him. That should tell you how good he could be. Like I said about phony backers on the several topics. They are no such thing.

The fact that Cruz is hated by the establishment RINO's & lefties proves he is threat to the status quo. :thumb:

Believe it or not, abortion is a smoke screen.

For millions of Americans that vote the Republican Party ticket which has a pro life pro tradtional values platform, it isn't a smokescreen. The only reason nothing has been done about abortion is because the people who voted these RINO's into office didn't demand that something be done about it.

I'll guarantee you Nick that if those things are ever removed from the Republican Party Platform (which is getting closer and closer to becoming reality), this man will never vote Republican again.

When liberty is taken away, the gospel can be shut down. But don't fret, I don't hold my nose when I vote.

Many politcally well informed people held their nose in the last two elections because they knew what they would be getting with B. Hussein Obama (pure evil).

And even after compromising their beliefs & values and voting for the RINO we still ended up with BHO the worst president in history arguably...right up there with Woodrow Wilson or Jimmy Carter. So much for compromise...

Since the Republican Party continued to have a pro life, pro traditional family platform, there was no "compromise" on social conservatives part.

(Obviously not enough people held their nose at the voting booth when it came to voting for pseudo conservative Mitt Romney).

Having a platform and actually believing in, or taking action on, said platform are two very different things. Maybe you actually believe these politicians and what they espouse (maybe not) where I am convinced it is just words...empty words, it seems that many have given up on the Republican party because they are a party of empty words and no action. One only has to watch our newly elected congress fail to carry out the mandate the people gave them, caving to this lawless administration at every turn, totally gutless, and when you see that lack of resolve why would anyone believe anything they say?

Seriously I don't see much difference between Democrat and Republican, two sides of the same coin. Politicians remind me of used car salesmen. And have you noticed how they throw up the horn sign?
It makes me think of these scriptures:
Matt. 4:8 Again, the devil took him up into an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9And said unto him, All these things will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me. 10Then said Jesus unto him, Begone, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.
Psalm 146:3 Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.5 How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the LORD his God,....
