No, you are wrong, but you are also lacking the fundamental understanding of science that is needed for an explanation to be meaningful to you.Dear 6days,
I would say 46+ billion years. Am I right?
Michael

Michael
Agreed, but that figure, as far off as it is (by a factor of about 10), is still much closer than 7,000 years (off by a factor of 600,000).Dear Davis,
There has not been 46+ billion years on Earth.
Michael
It is your fault that you are so ignorant of science that you can't recognize a huge error in what someone says on TV.Hey Davis,
It's not my fault that I'm wrong. I just go by what I've been taught. Blame the TV Newscast. You're in Australia, right?
Michael
It is your fault that you are so ignorant of science that you can't recognize a huge error in what someone says on TV.
I am about 2.5 million ly from the Andromeda Galaxy.
True. It is the evidence of radiometric dating of minerals on the earth, the moon and on meteorites that tells us the earth is 4.54 ± 0.05 billion years old.Just because Science says it's 4.6 billion years doesn't make it so?
Dear Michael,So Davis,
You're saying the Earth is 4.6 billion years old? I don't think so. Where do you get your figures from. Who's going to prove it?? Who has been here 4.6 billion years to confirm it? Just because Science says it's 4.6 billion years doesn't make it so?
Michael
Dear 6days,
I would say 46+ billion years. Am I right?

And the supernovas that we have observed are actually just some of the mirages that Michael speaks of?Nope...
God only created them 6000 years ago
Hi Michael, let's face it, what you may have heard hasn't always been that reliable it seems to me.Dear alwight,
Hey Buddy!! Hope that you're doing well 2nite. Hey, I'm wondering how many miles are we from Pluto at it's closest point to Earth. I know what we are at Pluto's farthest point. But Pluto's orbit is elliptical. Just wondering if you knew. It's been a night! What else is new? I heard that atheists were selfish and hollow inside? What do you think of that? Just telling you what I heard by an atheist. Well, will get going for now. Hope that all is well!!
Michael
Not at all.....And the supernovas that we have observed are actually just some of the mirages that Michael speaks of?
The speed of light is the speed of travel of a particle (a photon) with zero mass. Not at all.....
Both you and I believe that in the past something happened where light (or energy) travelled faster than speed of light.
Hi Michael, let's face it, what you may have heard hasn't always been that reliable it seems to me.
Some atheists may be selfish and hollow just like anyone else could be, so who is it thinks they all are? Should atheists even care anyway?
Help me understand the Creationist view in a bit more detail. For example, say over a period of a few weeks, scientists spot several supernovae. They determine, according to standard tools of astronomy, that the closest was 1 thousand ly distant, the next was 10 thousand ly, the third was 100 thousand ly, and the 4th was 1 million ly away. On a creationist timeline, when did each of these actually explode? Not at all.....
Both you and I believe that in the past something happened where light (or energy) travelled faster than speed of light.
Not according to 6days.Dear Davis,
Any supernovas you think you see ... are mirages also.
Michael
Since voice recorders during Neanderthal times were rarely to be found, how do you determine what the speech capability of Neanderthal’s was?Actually Davis, it was evolutionists who made all the false conclusions. The conclusions were based solely on their belief system...not on science.
… Ex. Evolutionists based on their belief system said Neandertals were incapable of speech, and would have only made gutteral sounds. Science has proved that wrong. Neandertals had the exact same capability of speech as we do.
