Clerk won't give gay couple marriage license

I don't see the big deal here. She refuses to do her duty as a government employee, so she should simply be fired. Calling this activism is ridiculous. If she can't stand for the tasks demanded by her job, she should quit. Pretty sure the people who support her would not be so supportive if she was a conservative Muslim who refused to issue a marriage certificate to a non-Muslim man and a Muslim woman.

She has my respect too. But she is breaking the law and can expect to face the consequences of her actions.
I disagree with the law but again I strongly support the right to choose as one see's fit.
I don't want to waste my time jousting at windmills, that is to say, things I cannot change.

her name is on the marriage license
are you okay with your name on the license for a same sex marriage?
