No one that Believes in the the Lord Jesus Christ shall perish, because the believing that results in Salvation is not a mere work of the flesh one does with his own freewill, but it's a Fruit of the Holy Spirit given in New Birth Gal. 5:22 .

"A man can receive nothing [by his own freewill], except it be given him from heaven." John 3:27

You added to the scripture. All things are given to us by God. What John was saying is that salvation is a gift from God. Jesus Christ is God's great free gift that has come from heaven.
