Calvinism: Satan's Attempt to Pervert the "Historical Gospel" of Jesus Christ

As is your habit, when answered showing you your error, you merely wave off the answer with no real engagement and declare victory, for example:

http://theologyonline.com/showthrea...icated-Religions/page25&p=4876663#post4876663

You have yet to make a claim that has not been shown to be erroneous. You refuse to substantively discuss your claims. You really are just talking to yourself, Robert.

You can't accept what the Bible says, so you attempt to change it.

When the Bible says, Everyone, All men, The whole world, Whosoever, you Calvinist fall down and start foaming at the mouth. You hate the Bible and you hate the truth.

Robert,

Thank you for making my point: you refuse to engage and merely wave off substantive responses.

When Scripture says everyone, all men, the whole world, etc., it is vital that we understand the context in which these things are being said. Failure to do so end up making one look very foolish:

The word "World" means all of humanity.

All evidence to the contrary, notwithstanding, of course:

So when Jesus said that... "Whosoever that believes in him should not perish" John 3:16. He was lying?

When Christ was made Surety Head Heb. 7:22 for all the Elect Chosen in Union with Him Eph. 1:4-5, He kept all the Commandments perfectly on behalf of them He Lived and Died for Rom. 5:19, including the First and Greatest one Mat. 22:37-38. So did His Obedience to the First Commandment require having Faith / Belief in God to Love Him? Sure it did. And God sees all those Christ represented as having Faith / Belief in Him also.

Nothing, absolutely nothing is yours until it is received by faith, John 1:12.

False statement. Those Christ died for are reconciled to God when they are being enemies by His Death. Rom 5:10

So True! And those who were reconciled to God while being enemies,
don't have their sins charged to them as other people do,
hence they are counted Righteous and at peace with God!

2 Cor. 5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us
the word of reconciliation.

So all the sins that the reconciled ones ever commit in their lifetime
can never be imputed to them: It's impossible for any of them to die in their sins.

Rom. 4:6-8
6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

The scripture says that, "God was in Christ reconciling the WORLD unto himself" 2 Corinthians 5:19. Not just some certain persons. The whole world. This means that salvation has been provided for EVERYONE, Hebrews 2:9.

Faulty thesis!

The world in 2 Cor. 5:19 is limited to that world spoken of in:

Rom. 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

It's the only World of men that shall be Saved His Life!

The Blessed World, the Elect World Eph. 1:4-7 to which God does not impute sin Rom. 4:7-8, thus no sin to be accountable for in God's sight.

But, there is also another world of men who are already condemned and under God's Wrath John 3:18, 36.

Why, because the men in this world God is holding them accountable for their sins!

Dan. 4:35
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing:
and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven,
and among the inhabitants of the earth:
and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

That is really sick.

All that God does is just, merciful and righteous. He is holy beyond human comprehension.

The God that you believe in is not the God of the Bible.

The God of the Bible "So loves the world that he gives his only begotten Son" John 3:16.

The scriptures point to the True Nature and Character of the True God.

But they are Purposely made incomprehensible to those who have been blinded by satan:

Words of Paul 2 Tim. 3:16:

2 Cor. 4:3-4
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Luke 8:12
Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts,
lest they should believe and be saved
.

You want to believe that God allows Satan to blind people from the truth. When in reality they blind themselves. Much like you have blinded yourself from the truth.

You have this negative view of God and his Son Jesus Christ. Its almost like you want God to be evil.

God is not evil. He has done all that he can do for the salvation of fallen man. He cannot and will not impose his will on anyone. If he did that he would not be Just.

Salvation is God's great free gift for everyone, Romans 5:18.

You have rejected this great free gift and want to believe that God imposes salvation on some and damns the rest to hell. Making God unjust.

You will not be saved if you believe that God is unjust.

You make God unjust by teaching that He condemns sinners Christ died for already.

You deny the Saving death of Christ!

When Jesus died all of humanity died with him. The whole human race has been put to death in Jesus Christ, Romans 6:6. This is why Paul said, "I have been crucified with Christ."

The law says, "All that sin must die." Jesus took our death for us and became sin for us, 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil, because God resurrected him from the dead and has made him both Lord and Christ, Acts 2:36
