That would be rather like explaining logically why left handed people shouldn't be criminalised.lain:Please continue with your brilliant 'logic' as to why homosexuality shouldn't be recriminalized.

Share your own details about a really good lesbian relationship. Obviously the details are important to you.
You are making things up again. They are not my allies. Murder and rape is bad. Therefore, threats of rape and murder are bad.
You seem to be confusing me for someone who would waste their time *fighting* in your imaginary war.
Children are not adults and so certain restrictions that wouldn't be OK for adults are OK for kids, because they aren't ready to consent to potentially life-destroying choices.
I'm not so sure adultery qualifies as a victimless crime, but at any rate, libertarianism says that for an action to be illegal, someone's rights should have been violated. If that is not the case, there should be no crime. Thus, actions like consensual prostitution, homosexuality, and recreational drug use,
while immoral and things that should be discouraged in society, would be outside the realm of things that government should use the sword to prevent.
I simply couldn't find anything close to your power of allurement, so I came back, realizing "it is better to have aCW in open rebuke, than Ptown, carefully concealed. "aCultureWarrior said:"The GFR7 School of Boycott"? (GFR7's boycott lasted almost a week, but then GFR7 was probably busy cruising the bars, public toilets and parks of Provincetown and didn't have time to blog).

I think I'm beginning to understand what Libertarian "freedom" really means Jr.:
The "freedom" to kill yourself, family and marital relationships and society in general (aCW slaps himself on the forehead and says: "And here I thought that was slavery...silly me.").
Now that I understand what "Libertarian freedom" really means, can we talk about those pesky age of consent laws, as children have every right to be "free" as well.
But but but Jr., your fellow Libertarian and former North American Man Boy Love Association spokesman Joe Powers didn't have a problem with it back in 1995 when he was interviewed in Spy Magazine:
http://exiledonline.com/great-momen...ambla-spokesman-declares-himself-libertarian/
Nor did the pederast Greeks when they made their boys warriors (and topped it off by sodomizing them).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pederasty_in_ancient_Greece
And and and let's not forget you and Ron Paul's favorite religion (Islam) where having sex with young girls (as long as you're married to the 9 year old) and sex with young boys is acceptable.
http://www.islam-watch.org/Amarkhan/pedophilia-in-islam/pedophilia-islam.htm
So once again: Without borrowing off of Judeo-Christian doctrine, tell us why sex with underage children/youth is wrong.
You should have seen that heroin overdose that my partner and I dealt with the other day. As he lay their dying, he turned several shades of blue. I would have loved it had you been there so I could have taken you by the neck and shoved your face within an inch of his to see what death really looks like.
Because we all know that this
is much more powerful then this:
I shared an ex lesbians story of what you call "freedom", I was hoping that you could give us some details of what a really really good lesbian relationship is like.
You're assuming that everyone with the label "libertarian" believes the same thing.
Social pressure can be a powerful force...

I've always acknowledged that your cult is a potpourri of misfits (dopers, abortionists, homosexuals, pornographers, hookers, etc.) Jr. :
"If it feels good do it"/"Do you own thing" describes it well.

42 years and 58 million unborn babies later, how's that working out with abortion Jr.?
I think abortionists should be executed, so I'm not sure why you're going down this road.
Social pressure can be a powerful force...
You and I both know I'm much more hardline on this issue than you are, so I'd suggest you drop it, lest I expose your pro-choice record.
From her experience ... which is religiously based. Unfortunately for you, freedom of religion does not include making laws that would impose your beliefs on others by taking away their rights.
You are on the losing end of this battle. Officer. Just thought I would mention that.

Well said. :BRAVO:In the name of 'tolerance', this new totalitarian force is one of the most intolerant and bigoted political movements. The tolerance which they preach only extends to those who fully agree with their views. Anything less is seen as 'bigoted', 'homophobic' (a very reactionary word used to shut down all criticism), 'intolerant' or worst of all 'dangerous'. Those who preach tolerance are intolerant towards those who they deem as intolerant; this is blatant hypocrisy.
Unfortunately, in this 'culture war' for want of a better phrase,
it seems to be just the opposite happening. The new found liberation, the sexual freedom, and gradual societal acceptance of homosexuality as equal in every way to heterosexual relationships is leading to a new totalitarianism.

My point is that this homosexual political movement (which not all homosexuals are a part of) is forcing the government to make laws which impose their political orthodoxy on everyone.
A very one sided political orthodoxy. Christians are being harassed, sued, threatened and bullied by those who claim to be the victims. The homosexual movement is gradually stripping Christians of their rights to practice their beliefs in every area of their lives, and trying to bully them into submission in the process.

It's the perfect phrase since there is a war going on between conflicting values on important issues such as abortion, homosexuality, pornography, etc.
Show me one person who proudly and unrepenantly engages in homosexual behavior and I'll show you someone who is part of the homosexual political movement (i.e. he or she votes for political candidates that support his or her immoral values, never speaks badly about homosexual behavior, etc. etc.).
And all of these things have happened since homosexuality was decriminalized.
Here's your opportunity to make even more enemies than you already have Pete (with you being an ex-homosexual, you're HATED a million times more than someone like me could ever be HATED, as you have proved that change is possible) : tell the followers of the thread that righteous laws need to be legislated once again to stop the insanity that you just acknolwedged is happening.
Ya know, Pete, I actually agree with you in regards to the politics of the issue. I don't see a need for *special rights* (such as hate law legislation).
Though on the flip side, we have those who wish to make homosexuality illegal and even punishable by death.
Yet those same people remain silent on serious issues such as rape, child molestation, etc. UNLESS the accused is a homosexual. Why do you suppose they cherry pick which *sin* and *sinners* to persecute?
Incidentally those who were persecuted are pushing back and doing a whole lot of persecuting of their own. Neither side will concede that they are wrong, so nothing changes.
I don't for a moment believe that harsh, vile words have anything to do with love. Homosexuals, as well as their families and friends, are not buying it either.
How?

you are claiming to be the victim.
The big irony is that you are complaining about threats and harassment in a thread dedicated threatening and harassing gays.
Exactly what religious rights have you been striped of?
