I can accept that given there is no scripture to support IB.
I think it's the faulty idea that water baptism is the new covenant version of circumcision.

In Acts, whole households were baptized, which would imply infants
then Jesus said to suffer the little children to come to him, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.. Baptism keeps them in that Kingdom...
Then there is the passage that says "Baptism... now saveth you"

Hardly. John's baptism was for repentance, and was a Jewish rather than a Christian baptism. The latter came later under the New Covenant initiated by Jesus Christ.Good point!
