What is the Gospel?

For our learning, as the Bible says in Romans 15:4. The word "training" is not in the Bible.

You are wrong. You should have known better than to go against what I said about all the scriptures to be used for our training. Who would think that the whole Bible isn't for us to be trained by?

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

So you believe some of what Paul wrote but not all?

Where is the word "train" or "training" there?

If you actually believed that verse, your doctrine would be much better.

You know I can show with the KJV that we have to train ourselves.

1 Timothy 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto
godliness.

I have more do you really want to go that route of denial?

Paul: faith in the DBR + no work = salvation/justification immediately and eternally

Rome: faith + works = salvation (maybe, depending on the works)

GT: faith + works = salvation (maybe, depending on the works)

Cradle, she says, but the salvation doctrines are essentially no different: work or perish.

Catholics don't obey God. God says call no brother 'father'; no other Mediator; and that means Mary is not Co Redeemer; do not bow to statues; put no apostle above another; know that you can be saved; and many other ways Catholics do not obey.

You say any untruthful thing to try to belittle and insult. What else does one have when they don't have the truth?

I go against the Catholics. If you knew Jesus you would know that you can't belong to a family and go against it.

Cool. You like Paul now.

Rom 5:19 (AKJV/PCE)
(5:19) For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

You don't even know what Jesus says about going against a house.

You don't care about the truth you just want to try to insult me.

Are you crying now, little girl? Quit crying if you want to deal with men.

Fact:

Rome: faith + works = salvation (maybe, depending on the works)

You: faith + works = salvation (maybe, depending on the works)

Why are you bearing false witness? What else you got?

I have always loved Paul
Rom 5:19 (AKJV/PCE)
(5:19) For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
That scripture is about being able to obey Jesus because he obeyed.

John 15:10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love.

Untruthful person you are.

The Catholics have works for people to do that go against God's commands.

You're either just plain wrong, or you're lying. Which is it?

John 15:10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love.
You just pick verses are RANDOM.... that verse has NOTHING to do what what Paul is talking about in Romans.

You just always try to make eternal life about what YOU do and NOT what HE did.

Rom 5:1-2 (AKJV/PCE)
(5:1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (5:2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Justified by FAITH.

Justified by FAITH.

The whole Bible goes together.

The Bible is no divided.

You misunderstand Paul.

Faith alone is dead and the only works no one does anymore are the ceremonial works.
