The Russians have been using deception to divide the world for long time.

Maybe you think that nukes and over 187 sovereign nations can mix together without ever resulting in people being transformed into craters. I just disagree. It hasn't happened, true and thankfully, but it's I think unreasonable to not take proactive measures to winnow 187 sovereign states down to just 1, and then there won't be any more enemies, and there won't be any more threat of one sovereign state making craters in another sovereign state.

The Russians have never claimed they are "liberating" Ukraine. They have said from day one this is about protecting themselves.

You give me a belly laugh saying I'm an anarchist just because I read some anarchist material. I also read marxist, Fabian socialist, conservative, liberal in the real meaning of liberal, libertarian as in Hayak and Mises, etc.... Hey I even have a bunch of Jesuit material. But I'm no more a Jesuit--that needs to be added to your list of ways to not become a Catholic-- than I am an anarchist or libertarian or any other political label.

The anarchists I read do a lot of honest research and they are very good researchers. Instead of refusing to even look at what they say you need to read it and do your own research on what they say rather than doing what you do with me. What you do with me is just plain old stupid as you reject anything that doesn't go along with your biases and prejudices. In other words you lock yourself away from learning. The Russian invasion of Ukraine was unprovoked. Anyone who does not admit that fact is either insane or intentionally stupid.

Not only that, but the Russian military is bombing apartment buildings, hospitals, etc. They are targeting civilians. This has been ongoing, so it is obviously being done on orders directly from Putin himself. We already knew that Putin murdered Russian dissidents, but now Putin is a murderer on practically a genocidal scale. Those facts notwithstanding, a substantial percentage of the Trump brigade actually support Putin while they oppose and condemn the President of the United States of America! We must ask ourselves why, and I have the answer.

While Trump was president, he spoke and acted like a strongman dictator wannabe. He would have been an authoritarian dictator if he could have been, but obviously, our Constitution, laws, and system of government prevented him from doing that.

Putin, on the other hand, is an actual strongman dictator. When Trump was forced out of office by a free and fair election, many Trump supporters decided to transfer their allegiances and affections onto Putin. Putin is everything American right-wing extremists wish Trump had been--Putin is ruthless to his political enemies, Putin pays phony lip service to Christianity for political purposes (although by "Christianity" Putin means the Russian Orthodox Church, which most American evangelicals probably do not even consider to be real biblical Christianity), he is socially conservative, etc.

This dynamic is reinforced by the fact that in place of Trump, we now have a Democrat in the White House. MAGAs are seething with hatred for Biden--so much so that they are more than happy to sabotage his administration in any way they can in order to prevent him or another Democrat from retaining the White House in 2024. And they will sabotage Biden even if it means sabotaging America itself. So while these Republicans claim to be the ultimate true American patriots, they will in fact act as traitors to America as long as we have a Democrat for a president.

Yep. Using communist Chinese propaganda and Russian propaganda to undercut Ukraine as it fights off Putin's genocidal warfare against their women and children.

Meanwhile they cheer the 'patriots' driving in circles on the beltway tooting their horns and pretending they're doing something brave.

I think the US is more divided today than during the Civil War. Flipping your statement around would be accurate:

Democrats are seething with hatred for Trump--so much so that they are more than happy to sabotage him in any way they can in order to prevent him or another Republican from regaining the White House in 2024. And they will sabotage Trump even if it means sabotaging America itself. Trump was elected because he wouldn't cow-tow to the established parties.
He spoke his mind.
Such a refreshing difference was good for America, in some ways.
Now we are back to the "same old thing" of two party finger pointing.
Is one better that the other in the sight of God?
He probably doesn't care in the least about our style of governance, as it is void of Him.
With that in mind, I will keep praying that God will keep me from all God-less governance entirely.
It certainly isn't worth my making "elected official blaming" a hobby.
