Yet, you folks seem to think you must continue to do good works in order to keep yourselves saved?
What are you afraid of? A good works could you be forgiving someone today.

A good works
:rotfl:
No sir.....I can't speak for others.....but loving kindness is reciprocal....pleasing works towards GOD are because one believes in the love of GOD, and are due to GOD, because of GOD. Good works are done because they are known by self to be good in the sight of GOD. in other words; one does because they both have the GOD given capacity to do, and the direction and discernment to know it is good to do; not for reward, not for salvation, not to help Christ save us; but because we believe Christ, and attempt to follow the law of the Spirit written on our hearts and imprinted on our minds.Yet, you folks seem to think you must continue to do good works in order to keep yourselves saved?

That is what many of the guys here are.
You all make an issue and laugh at someone for a typo. That is a strong portrayal of someone in falseness.

Of course! Do you really think Jesus did it ALL?!?!
I'm sorry; what's that sir?Popsthebuilder, didn't clarify what he said above? I guess he's out building another House with no walls, floors, ceilings, windows, and doors?
You're right, Glorydaz, as usual. Jesus didn't come to earth, just to be a good example,' He came to shed His blood for the sins of a world of lost sinners.' Someone once said; "Christ is the ONLY one who was ever was born into this world, whose reason for being born, was to die."
John 3: 19. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John 3: 19. And this is the test by which men are judged--the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than they loved the Light, because their deeds were wicked. 20. For every wrongdoer hates the light, and does not come to the light, for fear his actions should be exposed and condemned. 21. But he who does what is honest and right comes to the light, in order that his actions may be plainly shown to have been done in God.
(But we aren't to believe that obedience means anything?!?!)

What is it you need me to clarify? I'll be happy to try. I don't know what need you have to stab at my profession though.
What am I AFRAID of? I'm afraid of the ignorance of some of the posters around here.
How about share something that one might do as a work today.
It's three versesThis post is way too big.
So where does that place you who says no rule is to be followed?Zoom :chuckle:
Proverbs 25:28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
