On what post number did TH make this comment?

It was on your dialogue thread, Trad. This is actually where it started and it's clear to me what Town was attempting to do. Now he's trying to weasel his way out of it. He was using Asperger's as a way to call me stupid....in the round-about way he has so he can appear innocent. I'm surprised anyone is fooled by this act of his.

Do you see any sincere concern anywhere there?

He was in a closed car and the girl turned her head and may have read his lips.

"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:28

You are suggesting Trad was lusting after her? What version of events did you read?

Poor Trad....now he's a lustful racist. The PC crowd will have accused of being a school shooter before you know it.

It's funny, but the moment I posted it I wondered if you'd understand the point or do what you just did.

That's right, Town......pretend like you had a point when you quoted a verse about lusting when the subject was racism. Go ahead.

Oh yes, and Town quotes lusting verses when I mentioned the lady crossing the street. He must think you are secretly attracted to black ladies. This is like a "whisper game".

:plain:...this is why I wondered if you had Asperger's. When you struggle to move off of or see past the literal even when holding onto it doesn't make sense it raises the question. That or it invites people to wonder if you're just a little thick. Lust as the point, by way of example, read literally, doesn't track. But the notion that what a man holds in his mind and heart is as potent and answerable for as what he does with his body, that's a different story.

There's actually more...where I showed him a verse which would actually fit his claim, but he prefers to make the Bible say what he demands it say. And then he has the gall to call the reader "thick" when they can't guess where his mindless wanderings are taking him.

She either has a communication problem like AS or she was being slimy. You pick.
I know my choice, but on the point, when LH told us he had AS I went out to find out what that really meant. The first place, among a few, that I went to understand how it could play into interractions was WebMD, where I learned that it is typical of people with AS that, "They also tend to have problems understanding language in context and are very literal in their use of language."

As to her stream of posts:

So, either she has a legitimate reason for missing inference or she's not that bright. It's an either/or, but once again she either doesn't get it or doesn't want to or can't understand it.

So...I can add vocabulary to your list of struggles.

But from your perspective who isn't?

No, I can honestly say I have no idea how stupid you are. I'm mostly wondering how stupid you have to think everyone else is to try this bit.

Except that I didn't do that or put it that way, which is why I quoted what I actually had to say and why she doesn't.

Which I literally never did.

I really think the N bomb dropping and musical choices made that one of the most anticlimactic moments in TOL history though.

Also not something I did. :plain:

Like I said, you just don't get inference.

Do you see how GD twists words and latches on to a mistake, then she keeps harping on it.

So Town finds a famous verse about lust and adultery ...."That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart" to claim it supports this personal "notion" of his.

And those who didn't guess that was the NOTION he was going for must surely have some syndrome or simply be "thick".

The Town Clown fancies himself an attorney? Really? I'd hate to be on a jury having to try to imagine where he was going with his "argument". :chuckle:

"Before marriage, many young girls are called angels by the men who are in love with them. Afterward, they're called angels, too..

...

[wait for it]

...because they're always harping on something."

You obviously differentiated between Aspergers and thick. Like I said, GD comprehends wrongly and then latches onto her own mistake and pounds it into the ground. All of her disputes start with her poor comprehension/reading skills.

No. As I noted more than once you've displayed this inability to get a fairly clear inference more than once. :plain: This was just the latest example where you missed it.

And those who didn't guess that was the NOTION he was going for must surely have some syndrome or simply be "thick".
Those who don't get a series of inferences must be impaired in some form or fashion. Sure.

The Town Clown fancies himself an attorney?
In the same way a mathematician fancies his degree. :idunno: It was something I did reasonably well for a reasonably long time. I'm more interested in the next step now.

Really? I'd hate to be on a jury having to try to imagine where he was going with his "argument". :chuckle:
You'd be fine. Lawyers lead juries around gently enough.

Neither your either nor your or comes anywhere close to the truth. Your "inference" was a stupid one and you've gone through all these gyrations rather than admit it. :)

Unfortunately for you, I see through your trail of manure and it stinks to high heaven of hurt pride. You have been caught with your pants down, and you should stop trying to hide your scorn. You're bad at it. You end up making nonsensical sentences that hide none of your true feelings. Just out with it, little "smart" guy. I don't bite.

No, it wasn't. You have a real problem with inference. Anna had no trouble seeing the point and you ran to the bizarre notion that I was speaking to lust, a literal application that reason should have negated. At worst you should have thought, "What is he trying to get to." But no, you just knew. And you knew what no one should, thinking it over, believe.

So either you're blinded by your emotions or you're just not that sharp. You've negated the possibility of the limitation being something else.

Unfortunately for you, I see through your trail of manure
Except you're arguing for a thing you don't evidence. Perception of the nonliteral reading of a thing, let alone a person.

and it stinks to high heaven of hurt pride.
No, that's just the outcome you obviously want...because you keep going back to it. For the record, I'm smiling. Because it's been a while since someone like you did more than that to me.

You're...remarkable.

You have been caught with your pants down, and you should stop trying to hide your scorn. You're bad at it. You end up making nonsensical sentences that hide none of your true feelings. Just out with it, little "smart" guy. I don't bite.

:mock: lust is like racism

Unless they're YOUR "inferences".
But, you impress yourself, no doubt there.

Better stop off at the dementia center....you're losing it. I've heard they have meds for that now that it's hitting people younger every day.

But they never lead them down the garden path you go tripping through. You and Tiny Tim must be sniffing tulips together. ;)

Despite what's been posted to the contrary, I'm pretty sure you were speaking of intent, not lust.

Anna had no trouble you say. :rotfl:

She said I'm "pretty sure you were speaking of intent". She saw me scoff and knew you must have had some other "notion" in mind. "Intent" was already a part of the verse via the word "lust".

I actually thought you had read the story wrong about the woman crossing the street. I figured you were leaping to the presumption that he might be attracted to a woman he claims to hate. WHICH is why I made the comment that you all were now going to accuse him of being a lustful racist who might start shooting at schools. That's the way the "whisper game" I mentioned works.

Then when you came up with the notion that was so poorly supported by the verse you chose, I was shocked. There are so many other verses in the Bible you could have used. That was a REACH, and you keep trying to point at me to take the focus off of your own stupid NOTION.

You talk about me having some "problem".....man, you had better start looking within. What I'm seeing come from you is nothing less than the Pride of Life. And it's getting uglier by the minute.

What can you come up with? :idunno:

Paranoid Personality Disorder, PTSD, etc.

Her paranoia is extreme.

Paranoia is a central symptom of psychosis.[1] It is characterized by an unfounded or exaggerated distrust of others, sometimes reaching delusional proportions. Paranoid individuals constantly suspect the motives of those around them, and believe that certain individuals, or people in general, are out to get them.

At least 50% of the diagnosed cases of schizophrenia experience delusions of reference and delusions of persecution.[2] Paranoia perceptions and behavior may be part of many mental illnesses, such as depression and dementia, but they are more prevalent in three mental disorders: paranoid schizophrenia, delusional disorder (persecutory type), and paranoid personality disorder.
