You wouldn't understand.
In the United States about 75% of the population identifies as Christian. Only 2% is Jewish. And we should believe you when you say it's lonely being a Christian?
You wouldn't understand.
Pointing out someone's a stuck-up self-righteous bigot doesn't make you one, genius, any more than calling out an anti-semite makes you a neo-Nazi. Once again, I ask: Do you guys even listen to yourselves?
Oh, and remember to shop local.
pretend granite response to IMJerusha said:I think it is inappropriate for you to confront a little girl with a speech about homosexuality, it will only offend her and the adults standing by helping with the sale. It will not help your cause. Shop where and how you want, but that is the wrong battle to pick.
^ThisI don't worry much about who I buy from, basically it's about price and then service quality. Social issues aren't in mind most of the time. If a business or organization is known for supporting porn or abortion or perversion and I remember, I'll avoid it.

I regret looking a girl in the eye and telling her I can't buy because I'm a Christian and the GSA supports the gay/lesbian agenda.
Why not be a Christian, and have no regrets at all?
Why not be a Christian, and have no regrets at all?
That's totally unrealistic and ignorant of Scripture.
The regret is in the fact that a once Girl Scout has to decline to support the organization by the purchase of its goods due to their choice of perversion over Godly living and that a young girl is totally unaware of where she is being led and is indeed proud of where she is being led.
I would think it most appropriate behavior for a Christian to feel that sort of regret. After all, Yeshua wept over Jerusalem because He knew where she was headed.
There is a reason why our young adults, which nowadays equates to age 11 to 15, are turned off by the faith. It's because Christian adults rarely put their money where their mouths are and stand when the time is right to do so.
So, barbeque me for having the audacity to look a young girl in the eye and tell her exactly why, in matter of fact and not unpleasant tones, I won't purchase her goods. I really don't care.
And if the attending adults had had any care whatsoever for said young girls, they would have sent them home to put on skirts that cover their derrieres, shirts that covered their upper torsos and scrub the excess war paint off before some "gentleman" mistook what they were selling.
Then you and Jesus have different ideas about what a Christian does.
That's just your own wishes, being projected on God. Not a good idea, I think.
Jesus spent remarkably little time, if any, focusing on homosexuality, but a great deal of time on Pharisees parading their righteousness for everyone. Which is what you're doing at the expense of a little girl.
Just say "no, thank you" and go on with your life.
BTW, the kid isn't going to take away "maybe there's something wrong with the Girl Scouts."
She's going to think that there's something wrong with you. Kids are very perceptive that way.
Back then, there were a lot of Pharisees in Jerusalem, too.
I believe you are probably a bit delusional on why your young are not interested in Christianity.
You should care. You make Christians look like absolute jerks and you should probably care about that sort of thing.
What on earth are you talking about? I've never seen a Girl Scout selling cookies in a hooker uniform.
Well, you believe Scripture is just a bunch of stories and you put no confidence in God's word so why wouldn't you think I'm delusional?
And that's how I figure unbelievers do view Christians. Big deal. That's how Yeshua was viewed.
It was an eye opener for me! If you want to drag my initial comments to other outlandish places, you go right ahead. :chuckle: I can't guarantee I'll oblige you with responses.
convenient, low prices

Exactly how is it lonely when this country is crawling with Christians?
If this were the case, B. Hussein Soetoro (Obama) would not have been elected President. Twice.
I ask: Is this a gay-friendly company? and Are they open on Sundays?
Ezekiel 3:18
Again, Ezekiel 3:18.
You're confused.
Yeshua told people to listen to the Pharisees teaching but don't do as they did which was not live what they taught.
I've chosen to live God's teaching and the teaching of His Son who focused every ounce of His being on His Father's teaching which, according to Leviticus 18:22 is very anti homosexuality.
Which would stand for nothing in God's eyes.
Consider Revelation 14:12 and think about your limp-wristed approach.
How do you know what that young girl took away from my stand?
As I have already stated, my regret was that a young girl was proud that she was being led astray
so much so that she could no longer recognize the benefit of a firm faith.
Yeah, but it wasn't all Pharisees yelling "Give us Barabbas!" and "Crucify Him!" now was it?
Little girls are not "wicked." And it's incomprehensible to me why you want to treat them so.
taking it out on a little girl.
