That sounds an awful lot like the statement from one who can not present arguments for his or hers political stance in a convincing way. Saying that others are not thinking properly and therefore is stupid is not an argument, it is actually a fallacious argument.
If you are doing any real thinking, then you should be able to argue your position in an orderly and logical fashion and be able to dismiss criticism and disagreements in an equal manner.

Would you accept the following as valid reasoning from me?

"You really will not understand my position that states that every process in the world really is governed by pink elves with green mohawks unless you learn some real thinking. Your disagreements with that statement can only occur because you are not doing any real thinking."
