Those who election for themselves who thank God for saving them and thank God for condemning their family members do not exhibit the love which identifies all true Christians.
Election for themselves ? Where is this madness coming from ?

My wording got messed up. Let me try again. Those people who imagine themselves to be elect and rejoice over the assumed fact that their lost friends and relatives are going to burn in hell forever to fulfill God's pleasure do not understand the Bible.

Rabbit trail post !

Running away from people who challenge your position only shows you to be a coward who cannot defend his faith, as Peter says:

And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. - 1 Peter 3:13-17 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1Peter3:13-17&version=NKJV

If Christ died for our sins according to the scripture, the following things are true:

That we were sinners dead in sin without hope, and could do nothing to save ourselves. Matt 1:21; Eph 2:12

It means that God has chosen us in Christ Jesus before the foundation Eph 1:4 and wherein Grace was given to us in Him for the purpose of saving 2 Tim 1:9

It means that God has forgiven us all our sins and will not never charge them to us, lay them to our account ! Rom 4; 8;

If Christ died for us we have the Righteousness of God through Christ charged to us 2 Cor 5:21; Rom 4

If Christ died for us, His redemptive death secured our salvation from the curse of the law. Gal 3:13

If Christ died for us, we shall be given Spiritual life by the Spirit Gal 4:4-6

If Christ died for us, God will send to us the Gospel of our salvation. Eph 1:13; 2 Thess 2:13-14

If Christ died for us, God will preserve us unto eternal glory ! 2 Tim 4:18

You are right. What you failed to mention is that the Bible nowhere teaches that God had no desire or intention to offer salvation to the non-elect as well.

How about after God calls someone through the preaching of the gospel? 2 Thessalonians 2:14

t means that God has chosen us in Christ Jesus before the foundation Eph 1:4

By which you mean to say that God chose individuals for salvation, and not the group named "us in Him," which is false.

What Scripture ACTUALLY says is that God chose "us in Him," meaning that He decided that whoever is "in Him" would be saved, and whoever is NOT "in Him" would NOT be saved, and He tells us how to get "in Him."

and wherein Grace was given to us in Him for the purpose of saving 2 Tim 1:9

It means that God has forgiven us all our sins and will not never charge them to us, lay them to our account ! Rom 4; 8;

AMEN!

If Christ died for us

Christ died for all. He died for the ungodly.

He didn't die for those don't need dying for.

we have the Righteousness of God through Christ charged to us 2 Cor 5:21; Rom 4

"Us" as in "the Elect"? False.

"Us" as in "those who are in Him"? Yes.

If Christ died for us,

Christ died for the whole world.

Not just a particular group.

However, only a particular group will be saved.

His redemptive death secured our salvation from the curse of the law. Gal 3:13

Amen.

If Christ died for us,

Supra.

we shall be given Spiritual life by the Spirit Gal 4:4-6

Amen!

If Christ died for us,

Supra.

God will send to us the Gospel of our salvation. Eph 1:13; 2 Thess 2:13-14

Well, no, we already have the gospel of salvation, now we should spread it, because BY it, others may be saved.

If Christ died for us,

Supra.

God will preserve us unto eternal glory ! 2 Tim 4:18

Amen!

I see you also didn't bother to reply to this post (at least not yet). Would you please be so kind as to do so?

What religionist are blind to as it pertains to the Death of Christ and its saving effects, is that Christ death procured life, both Spiritual and Eternal for them He died for. This Life is given, applied to them He died for by the Spirit, so by His death He gives life to the world Jn 6:33

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Life here is Spiritual and is imparted by the Spirit in Honor of His Saving Death !

Of course the Bible teaches that God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus down to earth to give life unto the world. The problem with Calvinists and assorted 5-pointers is that they mistakenly think the "world" as used in the Bible includes only 5-pointers and no lost people.
