The Bible does not say that Christ is the authority for the Pope, the Pope is the authority for the cardinals, the cardinals are the authority for the archbishops, the archbishops are the authority for the bishops, the bishops are the authority for the priests, and the priests are the authority for the deacons, and the deacons are the authority for every man.
The Old Testament canon was established without any help from the Church of Rome, and the additions made to it by the Church of Rome (Tobit, Judith, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch) have been rejected as non-canonical.so your authority is your interpretation of the bible which the church provided
