I use the symbol of a puppet. I picture Christ as a puppet that God put His Right Hand into for 33 years to speak on our level.
I notice the "Right" hand here, (expressed with a capital R)....

You have done what you were meant to do, Amiel - feel free to die now.

Continuing from previous post, a brief meditation upon the preface of paper 10 -

Preface:

10:0.1 THE Paradise Trinity of eternal Deities facilitates the Father’s escape from personality absolutism. The Trinity perfectly associates the limitless expression of God’s infinite personal will with the absoluteness of Deity. The Eternal Son and the various Sons of divine origin, together with the Conjoint Actor and his universe children, effectively provide for the Father’s liberation from the limitations otherwise inherent in primacy, perfection, changelessness, eternity, universality, absoluteness, and infinity.

10:0.2 The Paradise Trinity effectively provides for the full expression and perfect revelation of the eternal nature of Deity. The Stationary Sons of the Trinity likewise afford a full and perfect revelation of divine justice. The Trinity is Deity unity, and this unity rests eternally upon the absolute foundations of the divine oneness of the three original and co-ordinate and coexistent personalities, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit.

10:0.3 From the present situation on the circle of eternity, looking backward into the endless past, we can discover only one inescapable inevitability in universe affairs, and that is the Paradise Trinity. I deem the Trinity to have been inevitable. As I view the past, present, and future of time, I consider nothing else in all the universe of universes to have been inevitable. The present master universe, viewed in retrospect or in prospect, is unthinkable without the Trinity. Given the Paradise Trinity, we can postulate alternate or even multiple ways of doing all things, but without the Trinity of Father, Son, and Spirit we are unable to conceive how the Infinite could achieve threefold and co-ordinate personalization in the face of the absolute oneness of Deity. No other concept of creation measures up to the Trinity standards of the completeness of the absoluteness inherent in Deity unity coupled with the repleteness of volitional liberation inherent in the threefold personalization of Deity.
Here we dive into the wonderful conception of a trinitization of Deity reflecting the inherent coordinate associative dimensions and relativity within the oneness of God, where the Universal Father is freed from the confines of his own absoluteness, the Trinity being the inherent pluralization of Deity-unity (actual and potentialized), originating and governing all relationships in time and eternity (since within the perfect corporation of Father, Son and Spirit, is the original source and coordinating powers that hold, combine, sustain and govern all movements of space-time creation). The preface alone contains seminal insight into the nature and inevitablility of the Trinity, as far as original eternal relationships are concerned, in their simplicity and diversity.

While some may reject the idea or concept of a Trinity altogether, the intellectual logic, rationale and consistency of the concept can maintain itself within a cosmology where all these relationships and associations relate logically in their various functions and movements. The idea of 'trinitarian' relationships are also recognized in other schools and traditions, as well as science and philosophy since we see 'triads' in nature.

Thanks Freelight.

I've always liked the way John put it in the opening of his gospel story:

John 1
King James Version (KJV)

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

Self-Distribution of the First Source and Center

(108.4) 10:1.1 It would seem that the Father, back in eternity, inaugurated a policy of profound self-distribution. There is inherent in the selfless, loving, and lovable nature of the Universal Father something which causes him to reserve to himself the exercise of only those powers and that authority which he apparently finds it impossible to delegate or to bestow.

(108.5) 10:1.2 The Universal Father all along has divested himself of every part of himself that was bestowable on any other Creator or creature. He has delegated to his divine Sons and their associated intelligences every power and all authority that could be delegated. He has actually transferred to his Sovereign Sons, in their respective universes, every prerogative of administrative authority that was transferable. In the affairs of a local universe, he has made each Sovereign Creator Son just as perfect, competent, and authoritative as is the Eternal Son in the original and central universe. He has given away, actually bestowed, with the dignity and sanctity of personality possession, all of himself and all of his attributes, everything he possibly could divest himself of, in every way, in every age, in every place, and to every person, and in every universe except that of his central indwelling.

(109.1) 10:1.3 Divine personality is not self-centered; self-distribution and sharing of personality characterize divine freewill selfhood. Creatures crave association with other personal creatures; Creators are moved to share divinity with their universe children; the personality of the Infinite is disclosed as the Universal Father, who shares reality of being and equality of self with two co-ordinate personalities, the Eternal Son and the Conjoint Actor.

(109.2) 10:1.4 For knowledge concerning the Father’s personality and divine attributes we will always be dependent on the revelations of the Eternal Son, for when the conjoint act of creation was effected, when the Third Person of Deity sprang into personality existence and executed the combined concepts of his divine parents, the Father ceased to exist as the unqualified personality. With the coming into being of the Conjoint Actor and the materialization of the central core of creation, certain eternal changes took place. God gave himself as an absolute personality to his Eternal Son. Thus does the Father bestow the “personality of infinity” upon his only-begotten Son, while they both bestow the “conjoint personality” of their eternal union upon the Infinite Spirit.

(109.3) 10:1.5 For these and other reasons beyond the concept of the finite mind, it is exceedingly difficult for the human creature to comprehend God’s infinite father-personality except as it is universally revealed in the Eternal Son and, with the Son, is universally active in the Infinite Spirit.

(109.4) 10:1.6 Since the Paradise Sons of God visit the evolutionary worlds and sometimes even there dwell in the likeness of mortal flesh, and since these bestowals make it possible for mortal man actually to know something of the nature and character of divine personality, therefore must the creatures of the planetary spheres look to the bestowals of these Paradise Sons for reliable and trustworthy information regarding the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.

(2087.5) 196:0.5 "Theology may fix, formulate, define, and dogmatize faith, but in the human life of Jesus faith was personal, living, original, spontaneous, and purely spiritual. This faith was not reverence for tradition nor a mere intellectual belief which he held as a sacred creed, but rather a sublime experience and a profound conviction which securely held him. His faith was so real and all-encompassing that it absolutely swept away any spiritual doubts and effectively destroyed every conflicting desire. Nothing was able to tear him away from the spiritual anchorage of this fervent, sublime, and undaunted faith. Even in the face of apparent defeat or in the throes of disappointment and threatening despair, he calmly stood in the divine presence free from fear and fully conscious of spiritual invincibility. Jesus enjoyed the invigorating assurance of the possession of unflinching faith, and in each of life’s trying situations he unfailingly exhibited an unquestioning loyalty to the Father’s will. And this superb faith was undaunted even by the cruel and crushing threat of an ignominious death."

"The Hebrews knew about the Trinity from the Kenite traditions of the days of Melchizedek, but their monotheistic zeal for the one God, Yahweh, so eclipsed all such teachings that by the time of Jesus’ appearance the Elohim doctrine had been practically eradicated from Jewish theology. The Hebrew mind could not reconcile the trinitarian concept with the monotheistic belief in the One Lord, the God of Israel.

(1144.6) 104:1.9 The followers of the Islamic faith likewise failed to grasp the idea of the Trinity. It is always difficult for an emerging monotheism to tolerate trinitarianism when confronted by polytheism. The trinity idea takes best hold of those religions which have a firm monotheistic tradition coupled with doctrinal elasticity. The great monotheists, the Hebrews and Mohammedans, found it difficult to distinguish between worshiping three gods, polytheism, and trinitarianism, the worship of one Deity existing in a triune manifestation of divinity and personality.

(1144.7) 104:1.10 Jesus taught his apostles the truth regarding the persons of the Paradise Trinity, but they thought he spoke figuratively and symbolically. Having been nurtured in Hebraic monotheism, they found it difficult to entertain any belief that seemed to conflict with their dominating concept of Yahweh. And the early Christians inherited the Hebraic prejudice against the Trinity concept.(1144.8)

104:1.11 The first Trinity of Christianity was proclaimed at Antioch and consisted of God, his Word, and his Wisdom. Paul knew of the Paradise Trinity of Father, Son, and Spirit, but he seldom preached about it and made mention thereof in only a few of his letters to the newly forming churches. Even then, as did his fellow apostles, Paul confused Jesus, the Creator Son of the local universe, with the Second Person of Deity, the Eternal Son of Paradise.

(1144.9) 104:1.12 The Christian concept of the Trinity, which began to gain recognition near the close of the first century after Christ, was comprised of the Universal Father, the Creator Son of Nebadon, and the Divine Minister of Salvington — Mother Spirit of the local universe and creative consort of the Creator Son.

(1145.1) 104:1.13 Not since the times of Jesus has the factual identity of the Paradise Trinity been known on Urantia (except by a few individuals to whom it was especially revealed) until its presentation in these revelatory disclosures. But though the Christian concept of the Trinity erred in fact, it was practically true with respect to spiritual relationships. Only in its philosophic implications and cosmological consequences did this concept suffer embarrassment: It has been difficult for many who are cosmic minded to believe that the Second Person of Deity, the second member of an infinite Trinity, once dwelt on Urantia; and while in spirit this is true, in actuality it is not a fact. The Michael Creators fully embody the divinity of the Eternal Son, but they are not the absolute personality."

Peace be upon you. You rejoice to know that I am the resurrection and the life, but this will avail you nothing unless you are first born of the eternal spirit, thereby coming to possess, by faith, the gift of eternal life. If you are the faith sons of my Father, you shall never die; you shall not perish. The gospel of the kingdom has taught you that all men are the sons of God. And this good news concerning the love of the heavenly Father for his children on earth must be carried to all the world. The time has come when you worship God neither on Gerizim nor at Jerusalem, but where you are, as you are, in spirit and in truth. It is your faith that saves your souls. Salvation is the gift of God to all who believe they are his sons. But be not deceived; while salvation is the free gift of God and is bestowed upon all who accept it by faith, there follows the experience of bearing the fruits of this spirit life as it is lived in the flesh. The acceptance of the doctrine of the fatherhood of God implies that you also freely accept the associated truth of the brotherhood of man. And if man is your brother, he is even more than your neighbor, whom the Father requires you to love as yourself. Your brother, being of your own family, you will not only love with a family affection, but you will also serve as you would serve yourself. And you will thus love and serve your brother because you, being my brethren, have been thus loved and served by me. Go, then, into all the world telling this good news to all creatures of every race, tribe, and nation. My spirit shall go before you, and I will be with you always.”

Seen from the perspective of the revelators, this makes logical sense, as the traditional-orthodox conception of the Trinity 'assumes' that Jesus is the 'Eternal Son' within the Paradise Trinity,...when Jesus is revealed here as a 'Creator Son', that divine order of Sons which proceed from the union of the Universal Father and Original Eternal Son (they being the divine offspring of these original divine personalities), so that these Creator Sons only embody the divinity of the Original Eternal Son, but they are not the absolute personality of the Original Eternal Son. Each Creator Son has his own unique personality being of a special personalized creation. The subtle nuances and differences here pertain, within the cosmology revealed, so that each divine being, personality and order has its place in the relational scheme and heirarchy of things.

The wonderful thing here is that a Bi-unity, Trinity, Septonate (7-fold expression), or any compound multiplicity, of '1', '3', '7' and beyond...are all extensions, distributions, multiplications, expressions, quanitifications of one primary, universal, essential reality, consciousness and Spirit-source. 'God' is forever One, forever All. In the infinite individuality of 'God', that 'individuality' is involved and evolved naturally out of its inherent nature where all potentiality, personality and creation constitutes and defines itself, from the realm of what is 'absolute' to all else proceeding therefrom, as 'relative'.

Blessings all,

Here we see Jesus teachings as reported in the UB substantiates his essential teachings as recorded in the gospels, with the emphasis on being 'faith-sons' of Our Heavenly Father. It is this 'living faith' born of the Spirit (the inner witness and guide) that is the divine life-seed and potential of 'God' within us,....the "Spirit that bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God". Nothing so simple as the central theme of 'faith-sons' of God living together in harmony in the kingdom, which is lived and realized by the Spirit-principle of life/love itself, for this kingdom of heaven is both within and without (all pervading/all encompassing).

"If you observe/honor/receive/practice my word, you shall never see death" - Jesus

The promise holds, the key being what Jesus realized and taught, that we too can 'realize', from the reality of God within that shines thru-out wherein we see all souls as children of God, and in that realization is the brotherhood of man.

There's so much more concerning the Trinity in the papers, which is exquisitely wonderful, as far as Deity and cosmic relationships are concerned. Our next audio-video presentation is on the 'Isle of Paradise', another unique revelation of the papers, revealing Paradise to be at the very center of the Universe of universes, the very nucleus of all, it governing all forces of gravity, matter, non-personal reality and so forth. Its amazing stuff to philosophically ponder on, as it opens and expands consciousness to consider the awesomeness of life, from Source outwards.

The truth IS

The truth IS

That is merely the original lie, re packaged... "You shall not surely die."

That all men are the offspring of God, and can further become more qualified sons of God thru faith, true knowledge and doing the will of God, are fundamental truths of man's very nature, being and potential as children of God. Such truth is not a lie, but the assumption that it is could be fostered by a false-god or misconception.

This fragment of Genesis was about Eve specifically loosing her immortality (use of the tree of life) if she diverted from Gods plan or will and did their own will. They did sin and became like man, they did die but were resurrected in heaven. They are now one of the 4 and 20 elders spoken of in revelation.

Hi Caino,...I think dealing with his 'assumption' of the serpent telling a lie ("you shall not die") and somehow connecting it to my statement that we are all children of 'God' is the essential thing to address, the illogic or logic of this complicated by a certain 'belief-structure' and preconceived theology.

Sadly this verse from Genesis is often used by fundies engrossed in the sin/redemption/blood atonement model, where the serpent is taken for 'satan' in somehow deceiving man (about 'death'), but its not a problem except for how that is 'interpreted', never mind the fact that the 'serpent' did tell a truth that even Yhwh acknowledged, for when they ate their eyes were 'opened' and they had a knowledge of good and evil, a 'truth' the serpent was correct about, so that Yhwh was the one not wanting them to have 'discerning knowledge', for what reason we can only speculate. An interesting Gnostic view of 'Yhwh' and the 'Serpent' is shared here. The 'mythology' and 'metaphors' involved can get complex.

Man physically dies by the laws of nature as all things in this realm of space-time creation, are born, die and are reborn as a transformation and continuation of energy, in its various forms. What is 'spiritual death' of personality is another subject which the papers treat as some souls can choose ultimate self-destruction (soul-death) where they are dis-integrated, and become no more. There is no hope of resurrection for these soul-units, for they are de-constructed, dissolved, terminated forever as far as their potential and survivability is concerned. We would need to differentiate between natural physical death, and spiritual death and if there is even a connection between them.

Those not familiar with the UB's teaching on the tree of life in the midst of the garden that was from one of the higher spiritual worlds and did grant immortality to those who partook of it, might pass this off as more 'religious fiction'. If you'd like to show where it mentions Adam & Eve being part of the 24 elders that John saw in his vision, feel free to share more.

You have absolutely NO proof of that presumption. The lie has been re-packaged many times. Saying that all men are God's 'children' and will live forever is merely an extension of the same lie. If you cannot see that you're even more blind than I thought.

Knowledge 'about' God is a far cry from actually knowing God, which is what Jesus' ministry was actually all about. He came to this earth to seek and to save that which was lost. "What was lost?" you might ask: well, the thing man lost in the Garden of Eden was relationship. Adam walked with God before the fall. After it, there was no more fellowship. Adam lost it by committing high treason against God. We can get that relationship back and be in perfect communion with God through The Blood of Jesus. Without It we are hopeless. Lost. Unforgiven.
Such truth is not a lie, but the assumption that it is could be fostered by a false-god or misconception.
Actullaly, your presumption, that all men are children of God and are acceptable to God is a lie. It is the first lie, re-packaged. You shall die. When you do, there comes judgment afterwards. Without Christ's Blood covering your sin, you will be found guilty and be sentenced to the second death, which is also known as Eternal Conscious Torment in the lake of fire.
There is One Universal Father of all.
Because God created one's life doesn't mean that one is acceptable to Him. If that were so, Christ's sacrifice on Calvary would have been un-necessary. Satan is God's creation, but he will be tormented in the lake of fire for ever and ever. You will suffer the same fate, except you repent.

We've covered this many times previously here (on the 'Trinity' and the 'Eternal Son', and Jesus being a Creator Son who is the offspring of the Universal Father and the Eternal Son (there are thousands of these Creator Sons who create their own universes and worlds), and have been posting an audio-video series on the papers covering this, see our last video-post on the Trinity here, and going back in the series each divine personality within the Trinity is covered.

There is only One Original Eternal Son, and a host of Creator-Sons that proceed from the original Deities (within the original Trinity).
