The church are those who are IN Christ Jesus ! NOT those in a pagan , idolatry promoting and practicing, Mary worshiping LIE, and following a sinful man named pope.

we don't worship mary
-and
we don't know any men who are not sinful

We are to abstain from the appearance of evil.. whether you do or do not technically worship her (you invented the word venerate to get around it) is of no concern, to most people that visit Roman Catholic Churches or have Roman Catholic friends...it appears they are doing evil (worshiping a statue).

Amazingly, those in Christ Jesus see and know Roman Catholics worship Mary. YOU can call it veneration, adoration, or whatever you want but the RCC and its members worship Mary. Saying you do not worship Mary only shows how far removed from truth you really are.

Christians follow Jesus NOT a man called pope.

We are to abstain from the appearance of evil..
this is true
-we call it scandal
-and
-we are not supposed to bear false witness against our neighbor
-so you seem to be guilty of both
-since you are accusing us of something you know to be not true

Idolatry is evil, yet you handle and bow to things made with men's hands.
Why not avoid it altogether?

I am accusing you of the appearance of evil.. that is not bearing false witness.

I have not gotten into how the term 'venerate' came to be. I believe that praying to and venerating someone/something is a form of worship.

improper use of a word in an innocent way is not a sin
-and
-not worthy of our time
-you will have to answer for how you use your time

It has the appearance of evil, so it is.

As far as how one uses their time... think of all the unheard prayers the Romanists pray every day to people that cannot hear and or intercede for them.

The dead are dead.
