But all ten wasn't brought over to the new testament. Keeping the Sabbath wasn't brought over. Ask yourself why? When the new testament tells us, that if we keep just one thing in the old testament that Jesus hasn't brought over to the new testament we can fall from grace.

Gal 5:1-4

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.
3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.
4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

I do not think that is what Squeak is talking about. He has discarded the Ten as no longer needed. The Sabbath is listed before killing, stealing, lying, etc. The Sabbath is part of the love God with all your heart. If you love some one, you please them. If you love God then you will keep his seventh day Sabbath. Simple.

"Think not..." means exactly that He did NOT come to destroy or alter or end the law by fulfilling it...

He can do NOTHING of Himself but everything in accordance to His Father's will...

He kept His Father's will and remained in His love and asked that we do the same...

NOTHING contrary or to alter or abrogate His Law was added by Him...

You only reject 1 of the 10...

The one He establishes Himself as Lord by...Lord of the Sabbath...who instructed prayers be said that during future times of trouble the Sabbath would be kept...

John the revelatory understands clearly "here are they that keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus..."

One Law same Law...

I said
Its easy for you to distort the truth if you don't ever post the truth. Quote the truth. That way you can pervert it with just bits and pieces of the truth. Jesus didn't come to destroy the law but to fulfill. And He did fulfill it. And He taught us how to fulfill it.

Matt 5:17
17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

Luke 16:16
16 "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.

Matt 11:12-13
12 "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

My life would have been a lot easier and more comfortable if I did not wish to please my God. But the price paid was worth the battle.

If you truly want to please the Lord follow the rules of believing. Don't think beyond what is written, and don't add one thing to the verses or take one thing away from the verses.

When are you going to understand that I am not discussing being justified by the law. The law will not save you. It is grace that will be given to those of his choosing. I am not free to break his law, or any part of his law. That would not please my God. And it would be against what I am. For to me to live is Christ, to follow his footsteps, his guidence.

Friend, you can not pick and choose which of the Ten you wish to keep. Break any one of them is sin. It is really ONE LAW, not ten. I understand your point as I was there many years ago. But I made a very unpopular decision to please God over family and friends.

This Sabbath keeper thinks sin is a transgression of the Ten. One can worship any day but God says to remember his Sabbath. It is listed in the Ten before the do not murder, or do not steal commands. The Sabbath is showing that you know who the creator is.

I am the one that is saying it isn't a law to keep the Sabbath. It is ok to keep it or not keep it.

Rom 14:5-7
5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.
6 He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.

2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

The condemnation of the law was done away with...not the Law it remains to point out sin and our need of Him to give us grace...is why we wish to be loyal and faithful to show our gratitude and estsblish the law wherever we go...to declare Him in word and deed...

Besides if there was indeed no longer a Law what need of a savior do following generations have?

No law no sin...

Yup...

we still need grace as the law remains and it will be used on the final judgement day...

And like in the church in the wilderness it will be One Law for native and foreigner...

And as Isaiah says of the new workd...from new moon to new moon from Sabbath to Sabbath they will come to worship...

Glad we are rehearsing now for then when God willing we can join and praise

Jesus taught us a whole new way. Jesus commanded us to stay in the new testament. Or you don't have the right God or the right Jesus.

II Jn 1:6-11
6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;
11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
