Obama Compiles Shortlist Of Gay, Transsexual Abortion Doctors To Replace Scalia

800.jpg

WASHINGTON—Moving quickly to begin the process of filling the unexpected vacancy on the Supreme Court bench, President Obama spent much of the weekend compiling a shortlist of gay, transsexual abortion doctors to replace the late Antonin Scalia, White House sources confirmed Monday. “These are all exemplary candidates with strong homosexual values and proven records of performing partial-birth abortions, but am I missing anyone?” Obama reportedly asked himself while reviewing his list of queer, gender-nonconforming, feminist Planned Parenthood employees, all of whom were also said to be black immigrants. “I definitely have enough post-op transsexuals on the list, but it is a little light on pre-op candidates. And I should probably add a cop killer or two on here just to round out my options.” Sources later confirmed that Obama was attempting to rapidly narrow the list down to the single best nominee to submit to the Senate in hopes of wrapping up confirmation hearings before his choice had to leave to attend the Hajj pilgrimage.

Obama is already trying to find a replacement for Scalia

What a sneak! That's something the President is supposed to do. Who does he think he is!?

He should recognize he's a lame duck with low approval ratings and let the people decide who they would elect to do the appointing.

Former homicide specialist stunned there was no autopsy. (Thanks to Diogenes)

we don't want anymore liberal judges legislating from the bench

We also don't want juridical decisions handed down by the Senate... right? Because that's kind of not how the Constitution set things up.

That's what would happen if the Senate stonewalls for almost a full year on purely partisan grounds, thereby forcing 4-4 splits which set decisions back at the lower court ruling.

I honestly can't believe it, myself. This was no John Q. Public we're talking about here, and the ramifications are huge. I'm even worried about someone doing in old Bernie....how easy would that be? I think we all know.

Shummer stonewalled much longer than that when Bush was farther from the end of his term than Obama is.

Reports say the family insisted there be no autopsy, but early reports should be weighed carefully, because so often they're inaccurate. It wouldn't surprise me though, if it was indeed true that the family insisted on no autopsy.

It also doesn't surprise me that conspiracy theories are exploding all over the place.

Back to the topic of the thread: How do you Libertarians feel about Antonin Scalia's performance as a Supreme Court Justice? Being a conservative, he probably voted against everything that you Libertarians slither stand for.

His performance? Not so good. Being a conservative, he was a pro abort. Roe was fine with him. A baby doesn't qualify for personhood etc.., so yeah, terrible actually. Anything else?

Not according to this Youtube video that I posted on page 1.

Roe v Wade lacked due process

Scalia obviously knew that our God-given rights were given to us in the Declaration of Independence and didn't feel it was the job of the federal government (which the last time I checked, you Libertarians hate) to write another document stating so.

A baby doesn't qualify for personhood etc.., so yeah, terrible actually. Anything else?

One more thing: How can anyone vote Libertarian and say that they are pro life?

1.5 Abortion

Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.

Oh, and your conspiracy theory that Scalia was murdered:

He was most likely escorted out to Texas under the protection of the US Marshal Service. It was more than likely that background checks on all of the guests at the lodge were done as well.

But then, if it weren't for people like you, conspiracy nutcase Alex Jones would be out of job.

How touching.....Is abortion murder AcW? Yes or No.....Also note he said, ""I will strike down Roe v. Wade, but I will also strike down a law that is the opposite of Roe v. Wade."

Scalia obviously knew that our God-given rights were given to us in the Declaration of Independence and didn't feel it was the job of the federal government (which the last time I checked, you Libertarians hate) to write another document stating so.

Obviously he didn't. So the federal government gave us our rights? So much for our God given rights.

From the LA Times:

Scalia’s body was taken by a caravan of 20 law enforcement officers three hours west to Sunset Funeral Home in El Paso, where, after the family opted against having an autopsy, it was being prepared to be flown back to Virginia, according to Chris Lujan, a funeral director manager.

The Times has a good writeup at the link.

Well, if they didn't want the autopsy, then it doesn't really matter. So that ends that.

Also note he said, ""I will strike down Roe v. Wade, but I will also strike down a law that is the opposite of Roe v. Wade."

Strictly from a political standpoint, where are you regarding state vs. federal government with regard to Scalia's wanting abortion law to be decided at the state level?
