Evening Praise the Lord.
:BRAVO:
Praise the Lord!
And may You hear the supplications of Your servant and of Your people…when they pray.
Hear from heaven Your dwelling place, and when You hear, forgive.
2 Chronicles 6:21

When the Weary, Seeking Rest
When the weary, seeking rest, to Thy goodness flee;
When the heavy laden cast all their load on Thee;
When the troubled, seeking peace, on Thy name shall call;
When the sinner, seeking life, at Thy feet shall fall…
When the child, with grave fresh lip, youth, or maiden fair,
When the aged, weak and grey, seek Thy face in prayer;
When the widow weeps to Thee, sad and lone and low;
When the orphan brings to Thee all his orphan woe…
When the stranger asks a home, all his toils to end;
When the hungry craveth food, and the poor a friend;
When the sailor on the wave bows the fervent knee;
When the soldier on the field lifts his heart to Thee…
When the man of toil and care, in the city crowd,
When the shepherd on the moor, names the name of God;
When the learned and the high tired of earthly fame,
Upon higher joys intent, name the blessed name…
When the worldling, sick at heart, lifts his soul above;
When the prodigal looks back to his Father’s love;
When the proud man, in his pride, stoops to seek Thy face;
When the burdened brings his guilt to Thy throne of grace...
We ask Thee hear in love, O Lord,
In Heav’n, Thy dwelling place on high.
Hear then in love, O Lord, this our cry
In Heav’n, Thy glorious dwelling place on high.

Therefore we do not lose heart…while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
O Holy Savior, Friend Unseen
O holy Savior, friend unseen, the faint, the weak on Thee may lean,
Help me, throughout life’s varying scene, by faith to cling to Thee.
Blessed with this fellowship divine, take what Thou wilt, I’ll ne’er repine;
E’en as the branches to the vine, my soul would cling to Thee.
Though faith and hope may long be tried, I ask not, need not aught beside;
How safe, how calm, how satisfied, the souls that cling to Thee!
Blessed is my lot, whate’er befall, what can disturb me, who appall,
While as my strength, my rock, my all, all, Savior, I cling to Thee!
Praise the Lord! Amen! and Amen!
Blessings, peace, grace and to all here at TOL!
