Right now, my life is devoted to Fisher House where wounded warriors family are staying to take care of their wounded husband or sons or daughters who got maimed at war.

They love the garden I am working on. Most of them thank me for my work there.

It is said that garden has soothing or healing effect on people who are emotionally or mentally disturbed.

I will continue this volunteer as long as I am able.

A few days ago, I was talking to whole left amputated soldier telling me he has to take morphine to ease the pain. He has been on morphine for 2 years and still in fisher house.

One lady soldier got amputated two arms and two legs.

This is what war create.

I don't believe we should encourage people to go to war so the rest of us can have healthy body.

Sending people to go to war is so selfish thing to do.

If it's use of force resulting in violence you are against, you must hate police officers. They're regularly more violent against criminals than any peacetime army.

I have noticed that only several posters are fighting against the thread. They are always the same posters who come into my thread and make hateful comments. And some are cheer leading them.

It is obvious they are intimidated by this thread.

There are tons of thread bickering about the Scripture, yet not too many are interested in Jesus' teaching of "love your enemy."

tragic.

"love your enemy" is core of Jesus' teaching.

Gods people shouldn't be involved with violence, we should turn the other cheek, love our enemies and bring the love of Christ to those of the world with the hope that they will listen and believe.

Natural wars are of the world, our warfare is spiritual.

Up date on this volunteer:

I got kicked out of Fisher House a few weeks ago because I reported leaky pluming (facet), broken hoses, broken fences and etc.

The manager did not like my fixing and cleaning the whole garden which she did not want people to know.

There were many waste going on. I thought they were happy to know my report but the manager fired me instead.

I thought I was going to serve them the rest of my life as long as I am able.

It was short lived. I started spring to January so it was only 8 months or so.

So I am looking for another place where I can volunteer for gardening.

Actually Jesus brings a sword to every nation. Literally through Satan's minions. The Bible is a double edged sword.
