The Steelers are 15-1-1 in their last 17 away games. An amazing stat.

New Orleans & Pittsburgh are the only teams who haven't lost on the road this year.

This week the Steelers play at Denver. The Steelers are 1-6 during the regular season at Denver since 1990.

The Steelers are favored by 3 points.

This is a tough game to pick.....TH?

I like your guys to cover. Say 28 - 23

Though the one game I called wrong against the line last week was the Steelers. I had them winning by 8 and they won by 4. If they perform that way this week it could be a nail biting, fg either way game.

The odds favor a cover though. The feeling from people who pick regularly is running 60/40 for the cover.

I believe we are still on life support !
I think you're mostly a spoiler for someone else now. It's hard to see you getting a spot.

You've got the Saints, which should be another L
Then it's Baltimore, and that's iffy, depending. Possible W.
To GB, L
Arz, maybe a W
Then to Car, a likely L
Then to TB, a W

I can't find enough likely Ws for your guys this year. It's only mathematically possible. Even if you pick up Car you're at 8 wins.

It's hard to understand how Matty Ice has such amazing stats, and the Falcons have such a horrible record at the same time.

Where is Jerry?

The Cowboys are in first place, and looking like they can beat anyone in the NFC.

Jerry?

Phillip Rivers of the NFC...

Ryan is playing for a team with a fine offense, but a defense that can't stop anyone. His two best statistical games came in losing efforts against the Saints and Bengals. In those back to back losses he threw 8 tds to 0 ints, averaged over 10 yds a throw and mid 70s completion percentage.

So another wasted year for him...the same thing happened to Brees for a lot of his career. A Marino like curse that befalls some qbs without the right ownership/front office.

Oh well, Im going to concede, we wont make playoffs this year. A friend feels we should get Mike McCarthy for coach, move Quinn to DC and promote Greg Knapp to OC. We have too much talent on Offence to not be lighting up the score board every game !

Something has to change, to be sure. Not certain you'll go forward by going backward though, and Mike is a great coach for a team from about fifteen years ago...you might want to shake things up a bit more, take a chance.

Our pass rush sucked this year and we been blitzed with the run, right up the middle.I can live with Quinn at coach another year. Gregg Knapp at OC though. Make some wise draft picks and our players getting healthy, we should be back in it next season.

I like the Pats' chances this year. It was good to see Dallas beat NO, they looked unstoppable up to that point. I still can see the Rams losing in the tournament, to either NO or to even someone else. I just think they're all too young. NE has a minor challenge this week in Miami (only because it's In Miami), and then it's the Steelers, at Pittsburgh. That's a real wild card seeing how streaky they've been this season. Ben could be lights out, or they could lay an egg, and anywhere in between, which is scary. I don't fear KC. Even if both NE and KC win out, KC could well lose in the divisional round before even getting to the championship game, so either a 1 or 2 seed for NE could mean home field throughout. I fear the Bolts more than the Texans. And I think we take Tennessee if we play them again.

Dallas looks for real. They could wind up in the SB this year.

Everyone needs one of those. New England didn't get it when they were on fire and they collapsed in the SB against a Giants team they should have beaten. The old great Bears team got a surprise from Miami in route to their eventual win and it helped.

That Saints team can beat anyone on a given Sunday, but the Rams are going to be the obstacle.

I'm just not ready to believe in their qb yet. He wasn't this before the coaching change, so either he's been coached into his potential or he's a system product, which means if someone can kink that he won't transcend the game plan. Time will tell.

NE smells vulnerable and the Steelers would be the perfect team to expose that powerfully, BUT the Pats have been in their heads for a while and there's just something Jeckyll and Hyde about this team that won't let me trust them. If not now, never.

I don't fear KC.
They're less frightening without their star rb, but still dangerous. Maybe the ultimate puncher's chance team.

The Chargers are the most complete team on the AFC side of it. And don't sleep on Baltimore. They're a wild card. I think Houston has made their case, but I think SD is a better version of that.

Dallas looks for real.
I'm close to believing that. They have talent. When the defense plays up to it and they run the ball they can play against most of the teams in their conference. I don't believe they will beat the Rams or the Saints on the road though.

They could wind up in the SB this year.
Possible, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Home field is going to mean more than usual for both conferences this year.

For an 11-1 team the Rams' +121 point differential is kind of weak, no? To put that into perspective the 2007 16-0 Patriots had a +315 point differential which is the NFL record. That 2007 Patriots team was amazing, arguably the greatest team in NFL history.
