Starring George Clooney.

Don't know if I was just not in the mood for this type move, but it did not hold my attention. 30 minutes into the movie I did not care if I saw the rest of it or not.
And I have no desire to ever watch it again.

We went to see Jurassic World at the movies earlier, it was very good, although not as good as the first one (special effects are better though) its worth seeing.

Jurassic World

We went to see Jurassic World at the movies earlier, it was very good, although not as good as the first one (special effects are better though) its worth seeing.
I was about to mention that one.
Took the neighborhood kids to see it.

The plot in this one is that they engineered a new female dino --- one that was a combination of traits from several other dinos. Huge and mean. Gonna be their star attraction.

But of course, it gets loose in the park and the running and screaming begins.

One cool part of the movie was about 4 raptors that were raised from eggs with human contact while they were growing up.
Slightly domesticated, they would obey commands from their human master who has established himself as their alpha.

When the big bad new girl dino runs a-muck and starts killing people and all the other dinos, plans proceed to use the raptors to track it and bring it down.
Humans pack with them on dirt bikes to surround it.
But when they catch up to the big bad girl, they find out that she was created with raptor dna as well, and it starts communicating with the 4 raptors.

Old T-Rex is then let loose and the two big un's fight.

I agree with Angel4Truth, the first one is still the best.

Bad Words

2013 comedy starring Jason Bateman.

Story plot:
A grown man named Guy (Jason Bateman) enters the national spelling bee tournament designed for any child that has not yet completed the 8th grade school level.
Since Guy never completed 8th grade, technically he can compete.

This enrages parents and tournament staff. It is televised, so he also becomes one of the most hated men in the nation, since he refuses to drop out.
He never misses a word, even when one of the staff manipulates the contest to give him the most outrageously hard words ever known!
He aces them all! But his motive for being in this competition is not for the money or the win.

Meanwhile, he befriends a little boy that is also a contestant and shows him the time of his life. (And no, I ain't gonna spoil it by telling what the motive is!)

I really enjoyed this movie.
It was hilarious.
It will be one of those movies that will make you wonder if your own inhibitions are causing you yourself to take life too seriously.

Not really for children, as it does have some language and sexual scene (although both done in a comical fashion).

I give it a big thumbs up, and would watch it again with anyone.

Terminator : Genisys
Satisfying sequel to the other Terminator movies. Pays homage to the first two movies and also introduces several new twists thanks to a wrinkle in the time travel backstory. Try to count the number of times this movies reworks classic scenes from the first two movies. Arnold is great in this one.

Rated PG-13 so no overt nudity and only one F-bomb (I guess PG-13 movies are allowed just the one.) Took my teenaged son and he loved the movie. I'd say it's the third best Terminator movie.

Tyrannosaur do not let this film pass you by,what a masterpiece, its hard hitting thou so be warned.

I watched that recently and highly rated it. For a directorial debut Paddy Consindine did a terrific job and Peter Mullan is usually pretty outstanding in anything he appears in. To start off as such an unlikeable and unsympathetic character in the opening to the gradual shift of emphasis as the film progresses is not something that every actor can pull off. Everyone else is sterling and the story winds in different ways than you'd likely expect. Gritty, uncomfortable viewing at times but ultimately a morality/redemption tale it's well worth a watch...
