That's what is creepy. There's enough sexualizing of our children in the culture as it is. I made sure and taught my daughter at a young age HOW to watch commercials--pointing out how Madison Avenue uses a pretty girl to seduce people into mindless capitalism (and other media and people's personal "tricks").

You're posting that he's a pedophile. That's a galaxy beyond calling someone dense.
"Smarmy" and "Creepy" are adjectives based on opinion and interpretation. Be honest and just say "I felt creeped out when Biden did "X" and leave it at that.

A decent mall Santa is not going to force himself on any child. And the same morality can be seen in the interaction of Biden and the girl in the video clip.
Like I say, I LOVE babies and when I see one at Safeway I like to talk to it and smile. But if that little innocent soul turns his or her head away from me, I know full well the child is taking care of him or herself and finds my presence too strange or overwhelming.
So I stop--just like Biden.

I DO care what you think. That's why I responded. And I think you should pay more attention to the EFFECT of your "good intentions." We don't always take that into consideration with others.

All I am saying is that using common sense and a father's love, I taught my child to stand up for herself and communicate her needs to others respectfully and clearly. And to take her cues from how SHE feels, not the nervous judgmental fears of her hovering parent.
