And you know that Paul preached in the synagogues. He concentrated on Gentiles but Romans 15:20.
Of course, there were gentiles mixed into every crowd of believers, jews also.

Right, so what's the issue?
The issue is the claim of the OP. Paul was the Apostle of the Gentiles, the Bible tells us, it also tells us that Peter was sent to the circumcision

You seriously think Peter wouldn't do so?

Paul was not providing an example for Peter in the time period Peter is referring to.

That's your problem. Instead, read and accept what you read in Acts 21:20-24, noting there's no hint of rebuke nor correction.
