Acts 26:20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

A change of mind? The scripture plainly says repent AND turn to God.

We have to repent and prove our repentance by what we do.

Works of repentance that we are to do is do not steal, murder, bear false witness, and commit adultery. There are others things too. If you are fornicating, get married. If you are getting drunk, stop. If you are a drug addict, stop. Are you thinking evil, stop thinking evil.
