Jesus is God. Where do you think He got it from?

The man Jesus was not God!

Moses asked God for his name in order that he might be able to tell the Israelites in Egypt, who had sent him. And God said; See Exodus 3: 14; "I Am Who I Am/YHVH." You must tell them: 'The one who is called "I AM/JHVH" has sent me to you.' Tell the Israelites that I, the Lord, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, have sent you to them.

Deuteronomy 18: 18; YHVH, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, says to Moses; "I will send them a prophet like you from among their own people; I will tell him what to say, and he will tell the people everything I command. He will speak in my name etc.

Peter confirms that Jesus was that man, when, concerning the man Jesus, he says in. Acts 3: 22; For Moses said; "The Lord your God will send you a prophet, just as he sent me, and he will be one of your own people, etc."

Did the people of his day believe that he was the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of our ancestors? No, they did not, for on the day of his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the people escorting him cried out, "Blessed is he, who comes in the name of the Lord." Verifying that they believed Jesus to be the one that God had promised that he would choose from among the Israelites, and send to the people to speak in his name.

John 5: 24; "Whoever hears my words, (Which were the Words of YHVH/Who I Am, that he commanded the man that he had chosen from among the people, to speak in his name) and believes in “HIM” who sent me, has eternal life.

John 17: 11; HOLY Father! Keep them safe by the power of your name, the name that you gave to me, etc. Jhn

17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Acts 3:19; “Repent then and turn to God, (Not to Jesus, but to God) so that He (God) will forgive your sins. If you do, times of spiritual strength will come from the Lord, and He will send Jesus, who is the Messiah that he has already CHOSEN for you.” The man Jesus, was chosen and made both Lord and saviour by “Who I Am”.

Acts 3:13; The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our ancestors has given divine glory to his servant Jesus.

Act 17: 31-32; God has overlooked the times when people did not know him, but now he commands all of them everywhere to turn away from their evil ways. 31For he has fixed a day in which he will judge the whole world with justice by means of a MAN he has CHOSEN. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising that MAN from death!”

Isaiah 42: 1; The Lord says, "Here is my servant, whom I strengthen---the one I have CHOSEN, with whom I am pleased. I have filled him with my spirit (Which descended upon him in the form of a dove, as the heavenly voice was heard to say, "You are my beloved in whom I am pleased, TODAY I have become your Father.) and he will bring justice to every nation.

1st Timothy 1:1; “From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by order of “GOD OUR SAVIOUR” and Christ Jesus “OUR HOPE.”

Jesus admits that he spoke not one word on his own authority, but only that which he was commanded to say by our Lord God and saviour, who chose him as the one to speak in his name, “Who I Am,” and Jesus says in
John 5: 24; “Whoever hear my words (The words that he was commanded to say) and believes in “HIM” who sent me, has eternal life.

John 14: 24; “And the word which you hear is not mine, but ‘THE’ Fathers who sent me. Not “MY Father” but the Father of us all: “Our Father who is in heaven.”

Whose words were these in reference to the body of Jesus which had been filled by the spirit=information=words of the Lord which had descended upon him in the form of a dove? “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up?”

They were the words that Jesus was commanded to say by “Who I Am,” who raised the body of Jesus, the earthly temple, which had been filled with his spirit.

Acts 5: 30; The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you slew and hanged on a tree.

Acts 13: 30; But God raised him from the dead: and he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee, etc.

1st Corinthians 6: 14; And God has both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

2nd Corinthians 1: 9; But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead.

2nd Corinthians 4: 14; knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence. _________________________

Acts 17: 31-32; God has overlooked the times when people did not know him, but now he commands all of them everywhere to turn away from their evil ways. 31For he has fixed a day in which he will judge the whole world with justice by means of a MAN he has CHOSEN. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising that MAN from death!”

Grace is a gift of God, but we have to have faith and faith is believing, and faith comes from hearing the word of God and once we hear the word, we can either believe it, or not and if we truly believe then we will obey the gospel, and have complete faith in God and Christ. And if we believe, then by faith we should believe that God can do anything. Faith the size of a grain of mustard seed can move mountains!
Salvation by grace through faith (Christ's faith) is the gift of God.

Also, And I am justified by the life of Christ in and through me. My old life gone, born of God walking in the Spirit, covered by Christ. God only wants to see the life of his son in us, not our dead flesh!
We are justified by the faith OF Christ Galatians 2:16 KJV. Is that what you are trying to say?
I am being saved by the Spirit within me and justified by the life of Christ through me.
Your statement here does not resemble someone who believes that they are already saved and already justified. Why not?

If we have Christ in our hearts, then others should see the life of Christ in us. And if others see the life of Christ in us, then this shows that we have faith in him, and they will see it by our works. If there are no works, how can others see the life of Christ in and through us?
By our preaching!

1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

By the testimony of our Lord and of His prisoner Paul!

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

The gospel of salvation is the gospel that Jesus preached.
The Lord while on earth preached the gospel of the kingdom for three years before He died. That is not the gospel by which we are saved today. This is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV)
Christ is our saviour, not Paul.
Who said otherwise?
Paul is a minister of the gospel!
Paul's gospel is by direct revelation of Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:11-12 KJV). Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles (Romans 11:13 KJV) committed the dispensation of the gospel (1 Corinthians 9:17 KJV), a dispensation of God to fulfill the word of God (Colossians 1:24-25 KJV even the mystery before hid from ages and from generations Colossians 1:26 KJV) and the dispensation of the grace of God to usward Ephesians 3:1-9 KJV)!

1 Corinthians 15

Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
They all preached resurrection, not "that Christ died for our sins" as the gospel by which we are saved. Just look at what Peter, when he had all the house of Israel present in Acts 2 preached. It is void of the good news "how that Christ died for our sins". It's just not there. And there's a reason why it wasn't there. It was a mystery (Romans 16:25-26 KJV, 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 KJV).
They all preached the same gospel, the gospel of God.
They all preached the gospel of God, not the gospel of Christ.
Delivered first by Christ Jesus then through his apostles including Paul to every creature throughout the earth!
Nope. The gospel in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John has not been preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations or the end would have come (Matthew 24:14 KJV). That's more proof that the gospel Paul preached is not the same, as his gospel was preached to every creature which is under heaven (Colossians 1:23 KJV).

We are saved by calling upon Yehowah in truth and in spirit.
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, whosoever shall call on the name of YEHOWAH shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as YEHOWAH hath said, and in the remnant whom YEHOWAH shall call.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of YEHOWAH shall be saved.

No one will be saved that has not been justified, sanctified and redeemed by the doing and the dying of Jesus, plus nothing.

All that Jesus is and all that Jesus did, was for our salvation. Jesus was not only God with us, he was God for us.

We are reconciled to God by the faith and works of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am saved by receiving the Holy Spirit. He crucified my rotten no good life, and traded his perfect life for it.

When the Father looks at me, he sees his perfect Son.

Jesus is God. Where do you think He got it from?

Jesus claimed the source of his message is the Father.

The purpose of his message was to build his flock.

That was the message his apostles preached.

He only has one flock.

The power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth (Romans 1:16 KJV no longer qualified to the Jew first and also to the Greek, but to all men 1 Timothy 2:4-6 KJV) is the gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV/ the gospel God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to (Romans 2:16 KJV).

Abraham was not Jewish and never knew of, nor heard of, Moses.

The Mosaic covenant did not abrogate the covenant the Spirit made with Abraham.

You're hung up on an ancient covenant that does not pertain to us today.

perhaps you can elaborate further as to what kind of works those who are indwelled with the Holy Spirit do.

That is if you don't still have me on ignore.

No one can deny that Salvation is a sovereign gift of God, but there is a danger of thinking that because God's grace is sovereign, that nothing else exists in the equation. If we take the fall of Adam, then we have to admit that the sovereign grace in which he was created still left room for Adam to bring sin and death into the world; in other words God gave Adam the CHOICE. Clearly Adam (and we)could not have breathed or thought or chosen without the gift of God but BECAUSE OF THAT Adam was able to breathe and think and choose. If not, what was the point of the prohibition not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil if it was a foregone conclusion? Adam's choice made all the difference. So in spite of the fact that we cannot claim any credit for the good we may do, God still rewards us when we do correspond to His will. Like a child who saves up his pocket money to give his father a birthday present; what father would respond to the child by saying "this is no present, because you could not have bought it if I hadn't given you the money in the first place!" The truth is that the child could have spent the money on himself but chose not to. It is called love which the the child freely chose to give. Thus our cooperation with God's sovereign grace is what makes all the difference between salvation or otherwise. Patrick Cronin
