you think...well many men have thought many things...and added to the Word...
Which makes you doubt it.
You doubt the Bible more than you trust God to have it written in such a way that preserves it as much as possible.
Ye of little faith.
oh and when a witch wishes?
like participate in an act of abomination?
Please point out this "act of abomination" you think occurred.
why would they not be persuaded?
Because they didn't believe what Moses wrote.
Saul knew Moses and the abomination he participated in...he believed an apparition...Elijah ran from a woman he perceived stronger than the God he had just proven...
Saul was not righteous. He may have known what Moses wrote, but He didn't believe it.
As for Elijah, you'll have to provide the passage to refresh my memory on that...
they don’t...scripture makes that clear to most who would read...but you also think God needs witches...
No, I think He can work wickedness into His plans.
no just Saul...he thought the dead could be risen...by witches...
right... your perceptions are the problem here...
Says the one who can't read what is plainly written...
ummm...no...Saul believed Samuel was brought up by a witch...
So? That doesn't mean that she did. In fact, the text makes it fairly clear that she did not.
Saul asked the witch to have him leave Abraham’s Bosom
Did you not notice that the Bible does not record the witch doing anything at all, just that she sees Samuel, and describes him as rising out of the ground?
Read it again:
Then the woman said, “Whom shall I bring up for you?”
And he said, “Bring up Samuel for me.”When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman spoke to Saul, saying, “Why have you deceived me? For you are Saul!”And
the king said to her, “Do not be afraid. What did you see?” And the woman said to Saul, “I saw a spirit ascending out of the earth.”So he said to her, “What is his form?” And she said, “An old man is coming up, and he is covered with a mantle.” And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground and bowed down. Now Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” And Saul answered, “I am deeply distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may reveal to me what I should do.” - 1 Samuel 28:11-15

The woman was shocked to see Samuel. Which means that she wasn't expecting to see Him. And for someone who claims to be a medium, it's a good sign of a fraud.
Why do you mock God's word?
Abraham must have played along knowing a witch called
Conjecture.
I recommend you just stick to what's written.
you mean the parts confirming we are sovereign citizens of Israel? Living as He did? Loving as He did?
Please provide references.
I doubt you...your ability to discern what is from above and what is from below...
No, you doubt the Bible, otherwise you wouldn't reject what it plainly and clearly says.
sure it does...and most of Christianity believes it...
No, it doesn't.
Jesus constantly says, "you have heard it said" and then follows up with, "but I say to you."
Compare what He said with the law.
You'll find that, if anything, what they had "heard it said" was incorrect, but what Jesus said to them, was what the law intended from the start.
that jewish false witness that He changed the customs Moses delivered...
Are you actually calling Jesus a false witness?
Only those that would believe what is written what He taught...some continue to believe what they think...
Again, if you compare what He said to them to what was written by Moses, you'll find it's the same.
If you compare what they had heard it said to what was written by Moses, you'll find that what they had heard was wrong.
