Jenna Ellis, the Colorado attorney who was former President Donald Trump’s senior legal advisor as he tried to overturn his 2020 election loss, has been censured by a Colorado judge for misconduct.

The public censure order was signed Wednesday by Presiding Disciplinary Judge Bryon M. Large, who oversees lawyer discipline cases in Colorado. As part of an agreement in the case, Ellis admits that multiple statements she made in late 2020 about the presidential election being stolen were “misrepresentations.”

Those statements were part of an effort by Trump to reverse President Joe Biden’s victory, and they helped fuel the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. A majority of Republicans, including those running to chair the Colorado Republican Party, continue to doubt the 2020 election results.

Ellis had been under scrutiny by the Colorado Attorney Regulation Counsel Jessica Yates, who investigates allegations of lawyer misconduct, since at least last year when a nonprofit alleged Ellis violated multiple professional rules.

In an opinion accepting a censure agreement between Yates and Ellis, Large noted that Ellis has agreed that her statements about the election being stolen were misrepresentations, which he said were made “with at least a reckless state of mind.” Ellis also agreed that she, “through her conduct, undermined the American public’s confidence in the presidential election, violating her duty of candor to the public,” Large wrote, adding that “a selfish motive” and “a pattern of misconduct” were aggravating factors in the case.

Yates’ complaint cited 10 misrepresentations by Ellis. On Nov. 20, 2020, for example, Ellis made stolen-election claims on Maria Bartiromo’s show on Fox Business and Sean Spicer’s “Spicer & Co.” show.

“We have affidavits from witnesses, we have voter intimidation, we have the ballots that were manipulated, we have all kinds of statistics that show that this was a coordinated effort in all of these states to transfer votes either from Trump to Biden, to manipulate the ballots, to count them in secret,” Ellis falsely said on Bartiromo’s show.

Referring to contested states Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Georgia, she falsely said on Spicer’s show, “With all those states … combined we know that the election was stolen from President Trump and we can prove that.”

A statement from Yates’ office said, “The public censure in this matter reinforces that even if engaged in political speech, there is a line attorneys cannot cross, particularly when they are speaking in a representative capacity.”

Ellis appears among key Trump-aligned figures in the final report of the U.S. House panel that investigated the Jan. 6 insurrection, which concluded that the attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of a Trump-led “multi-part conspiracy to overturn the lawful results of the 2020 Presidential election.”

Her public censure is effective immediately.

That's why you losers keep on losing.
Why you losers keep on losing is because of your dismal stupidity, your addiction to self-contradiction, your abject dishonesty, and your insane hubris. You really should have heeded the "Don't do drugs!" warnings; well, it's too late for you now, losers.
You won't put your money where your mouths are
Changing your story again, eh? Earlier, you said we had given Trump "quarter of a billion dollars", now you're saying we haven't. Which is it?
you vote for RINOs!
Is Trump a RINO? Yes or No?

Well, kinda hilarious that Carlson is calling anyone a liar considering that for the past four years he's been peddling pro Trump crap on Fox to gullible dopes while privately despising the guy.

Still, gotta laugh eh?
Well, kind of hilarious that you lying, leftard hypocrites sit there complaining about Tucker's calling liars, liars, while you are calling him a liar. Truly, you are the very stuff of raving, torch and pitchfork mobs. No surprise that you have "crap", "peddling" and "dope" on the brain.

Your "laughter" is that of insanity.

What's that got to do with Carlson blatantly lying to you along with other Fox news hosts? You've been taken for a ride and you still refuse to acknowledge it. Even when it all comes tumbling out you still deny it. That's why the far right in America are such easy targets for being duped.
I do not understand how anyone could honestly not believe the video evidence unless he is either stupid or deceived.

Why do leftists continually call God-honoring Christians and conservatives "gullible dopes?"
Because too many of them really are gullible dopes. My proof? Jimmy Swaggart, Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, Pat Roberson, Jerry Falwell Jr, Mike Murdock, Ted Haggard, Kenneth Copeland, Peter Popoff, Benny Hinn, and so forth!

Notice how @User Name's reaction to your post was to childishly say the first irrelevant, false thing that came to his mind. You're never going to see that leftard, or any of his fellow TOL lying leftards answer the question I've asked him and @Arthur Brain:
What that Carlson said are you accusing of being blatant lying?
Why can't they answer this question?

They can, just as well as everyone else, see all the J6 footage Tucker is airing. Why can't they get any of it to corroborate their Democrat tale? They know that they cannot do so, and cannot hide the embarrassing fact that they cannot. So, triggered to rage by this fact, they lash out by mindlessly chanting "Tucker is lying!"

Hmm, who;s doing that exactly? People's faith or their conservatism has nothing to do with it. Those who bought into fox "News" were being lied to and their target audience are generally those who tune into it to be told what they want to hear, namely the far right MAGA! base. Not exactly the most discerning crowd and now it's come to light that Fox hosts were lying to you in public while privately acknowledging that claims of election fraud were nonsense, Sydney Powell was a wingnut and Trump's presidency was a disaster. So, anyone who buys into Fox, especially after the latest revelations is indeed a gullible dope - whether they're Christian, conservative or whatever...

“I hate him passionately.”

Thanks to new court filings in a $1.6bn defamation lawsuit against Fox News we now know exactly how the network’s star host, Tucker Carlson, really feels about Donald Trump. Two days before the insurrection at the Capitol, around the same time that Carlson was publicly singing Trump’s praises to his audience of millions, he was also sending private texts to members of his staff about how much despised the guy. It’s almost like Carlson doesn’t believe a single word he says on TV.

That text message wasn’t some one-off: the court documents are full of juicy little examples of Carlson bashing Trump. During the 2020 presidential election, for example, Carlson told his producer that Trump was a terrible businessman. “All of [his businesses] fail,” he texted. “What he’s good at is destroying things. He’s the undisputed world champion of that.” In another text, sent the day after the Capitol riots, Carlson described Trump as a “demonic force, a destroyer.” And in yet another text he called Trump’s presidency a “disaster.” Weirdly none of those opinions made it onto his show.

Who is Carlson really? What, if anything, does he actually believe? It seems unlikely, but I would hope that the news about his feelings towards Trump might make Carlson’s viewers start asking those questions – and start questioning his credibility. After all, the court filings don’t just make Carlson’s opinions about Trump clear, they demonstrate that he has zero respect for his viewers. As the journalism professor Jay Rosen tweeted: “When you feel you have to conceal a view like this from your viewers, night after night, you develop a deep contempt for them because, night after night, they fall for what you in your heart know is an act.”

“I was here. It was not peaceful. It was an abomination,” said Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), per Politico. “You’re entitled to believe what you want in America, but you can’t resort to violence to try to convince others of your point of view.”

Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) said: "I think that breaking through glass windows and doors to get into the United States Capitol against the borders of police is a crime," per NBC News.

“I don’t really have a problem with making it all public. But if your message is then to try and convince people that nothing bad happened, then it’s just gonna make us look silly.” -- Rep. Dan Crenshaw

Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-N.D.) said he has “a hard time with all of it,” contending that Jan. 6 “was not a peaceful protest. It was not an insurrection. It was a riot that should have never happened. And a lot of people share blame for that. The truth is always messier than any narrative.”

“Anybody that trespassed into the United States Capitol, you know, whether they did peacefully … did it illegally,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) said. “I think that it’s unfortunate that [Carlson] is the exclusive holder of the tape recording."

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) described the day as a violent attack and said any effort to “normalize that behavior is dangerous and disgusting.“

Are you saying this proves the videos showing the Capitol police opening doors for the protesters and waving them in were nothing but deep fakes?

Nope, that was real. You don't seem to realize that some Capitol police were MAGA criminals:
