Dukes of Hazzard Dropped by TV Land

Heck, let's axe all TV shows that have even the remotest allusion to a symbol of any sort and selectively watch blu rays or DVDs instead. To be fair I do the latter for the most part anyway but hey...

And now I'm sure you can understand why The Dukes of Hazzard has been dropped by TV Land.
That's the way weak, mindless, indoctrinated butt-holes think.

Why would it? All in the Family was created by Hollywood liberals and Archie Bunker, although a lovable character, was also made to make conservatives look bigoted and ignorant.
And your dumb butt fell for it!!!!

Yeah... where ever will we be without this stupid tv sitcom from the 70s.

No further than we are with a group of wet behind the ears, undereducated children bemoaning the right of free speech to those who want to display a confederate flag, while claiming free speech to stand on the American flag & posting it on Facebook showing publicly what morons they really are. You wouldn't do that now would you Quetzal?

Spare me your arrogant assumptions. I'm not a white person (was called n*igger a few times as a kid) nor am I a Southerner. When I watched the Dukes of Hazzard it was simply for entertainment.

To agree with their decision is to defend censorship and political correctness.

No it's not.

You don't see TCM, or any other network showing Birth of a Nation.

It's not against the law to show either. However, TV Land and TCM are allowed to show whatever they want, and whatever they don't want.

There's no censorship involved.

Yeah.
And the show did not endorse racism or hate in any way, shape, or form.

If you defend the Confederate Flag, then you defend racism and hate.

Last I checked, you were defending the Confederate Flag.

You are also an idiot for thinking I'm defending racism and hate.

What she said.

And The Dukes of Hazzard is on TV.com

There's no censorship.

If a network doesn't want to show the Dukes of Hazzard or Birth of a Nation, it's allowed not to.

Right. THAT is censorship ... however, as you stated, the network has the right to do so.

Just as I have the right to state they are politically correct buffoons.

Unless it is censoring the confederate flag or those exercising their 1st amendment right to fly it, right?

No one is taking away anyone's right to fly a Confederate Flag, or watch the Dukes of Hazzard.

The flag symbolizes racism and hate. Why would a cable television network want to air a show that has that symbol portrayed in a positive way.

It would be like airing a show that had a Nazi flag on top of a 69' Charger with Heinrich Himmler on it, and portraying it in a positive way.
