I agree that he's the light of the world.
Why is there a monstrance? It looks quite pagan.
The design of the monstrance employs the same symbolism that Christ did in John 8:12.
I've not seen that term before?
I think their monstrance is about the "sun god".
Who changed Saul's name to Paul? I know it takes place in the books of Acts but did he do it or some one else. Also this is a great site but sometimes when you reply it doesn't show up in th right place!
I am not sure about that.
So if any country adopts a state religion, that religion must be false?
The Roman Church changed it's gods to patron saints, Mithra to Mary, Dagon to fisherman, and took it's rites right out of gnostic influence. The philosophy of their gods is so laced up in it's Christian ideology that if you took away the iconography, you'd hardly tell it is even Christianity.
Only lowlifes and scum use the word Romanist.
That's why I prefer the term papist.
Why not just call us Catholics?
The Greek roots of the term "Catholic" mean "according to (kata-) the whole (holos)," or more colloquially, "universal."
Why is there a monstrance?
But since you obey da pope as if he's God Himself on earth (or are supposed to, anyway), the term papist will do nicely.
What specific doctrine, regarding the pope, do you object to?

Remind me. You're one of those pro-homo papists, right?
so why did he force the bishops together in 321?
